    It's a gap between you thighs when you put them together, usually make a diamond shape. I notice that is something a lot of anorexic girls/women strive for.

    lololol. ^This. But you'd be surprised, I had to ask a bunch of guys about it and they knew what it was and wanted it and thought it was hot. Some said it was something they actually looked for. I was surprised. That being said I just went back to school and hang out with a bunch of youngens. Faith in the human race went down a little that day. No wonder I like older men.

    There is a version called the "the triang" (triangle between thighs and crotch), and 'the chive' is known for posting pics of it so many refer to it as 'the chive'.

    I actually had to figure out this one as well. Someone told me they were jealous of my thigh gap and I was like my wtf? If you touch your ankles and knees together and stand straight and your thighs don't touch, you have a thigh gap. Some people think it's completely based on your weight, which is not true. Many people can be very under weight and have no thigh gap, I had one when I was over weight. Some people go to pro-ana levels to get one just because in their heads it's attractive.

    On the other side you get a bunch of hateful people who do not have it who go around telling those who do how disgusting they are.


    I felt old when I figured it out, "back in my day" people wanted a sense of self, not a lack of self in specific areas.

    Thigh gaps are very much dependent on your pelvic bone structure. Girls who starve themselves to get a thigh gap are fools, but it's literally impossible for some women to achieve.

    This is a hot button issue, and it bugs me because even though I have great hips and a nice shape, the way my legs are, I won't have "thigh gap" unless I'm underweight.

    I hate how it is perpetuated as a universally achievable goal, when some women just won't be able to get one while being healthy. Love the body you have!
