I don't have a hubby...yet. But my fiance has been an awesome support of me and my weightloss journey. We walk together every day and now we have started going to the gym together. It's been such an awesome journey. He is always saying encouraging words and paying lots of compliments. It's amazing how much easier it can be…

So far I have lost 31 lbs and 24 inches total. It's great to see the number on the scale go down but the number of inches lost is more important. I love the fact that all my clothes are getting to big for me and people will notice that first.

Awesome!!

I never go by the scale anymore. Clothes that I couldn't wear before are now becoming loose on me. Thats all I need to see. If you are losing inches the number on the scale will soon follow. If you are building muscle then the number on the scale will either not move or even go up as muscle weighs more than fat. Keep…

I also have hypothyroidism. I am on 75 mcg of levothyroxin. I guess I was really lucky that my dr found the magic dose the first time around. I feel so much better all the way around. And the weight is coming off quite easily too. Just want to say that you just have to be patient and work with your dr and you will be…

I never liked my pic taken either. Took a lot to ask my boyfriend to take my before pics. I am so glad I did because now I can compare and it is so very encouraging to see the progress. Now I have a full length mirror and take my own pics because I am actually beginning to like who I see in the mirror.

Have you had your thyroid checked? An abnormal thyroid is troublesome with losing weight. That is what was wrong with me and now that it's been regulated with the right meds, I'm losing weight and feeling better all around.

My biggest nsv is that my knees no longer hurt when I'm on my feet all day/night for work. I have arthritis in both knees but worse in my left one. Now I can walk 2-3 miles even after working all day/night. (work hours are 12:30am-10am) Couldn't even think of doing that before.
-
I'm in. I usually walk 2-3 miles a day so this will be a great motivation to keep going.

There were many times that I've said to myself that I'm gonna lose weight and never got started. Even after I first joined mfp, I still didn't keep going. I had even gotten to the point where I was thinking about quitting my job because I couldn't stand all the pain I was in after I got home. Plus I always seemed out of…

Hi, I also have at least 100 lbs to lose. I am 46 yrs and have two beautiful grandchildren, ages 2 and 6 months. I want to be able to keep up with them. I also have hypothyroidism, which is now under control with meds. I started mfp about 3 wks ago and I have already lost about 15 lbs. I am amazed just how easy and fun mfp…
