Hi ! I use HRM (Polar watch) when I run. I also run with my Iphone and Nikeplus app. Lots of gadgets haha! I used to only go by my running pace and tried to maintain a certain pace the whole time. NEW BALANCE - I love cushioned Running shoes !! Buy from a speciality store, it makes a difference. You can try the shoes in store (on treadmill) and figure out what you like best !

I agree with everything above. It's (sadly) all about diet... When I changed my diets i saw big results !!! Dont forget cardio is good but too much of it makes you hungry and when you are hungry ...it's harder to stick to the plan :)
