I am all over the place. I usually do 4 days of strength. The other days depend on how I am feeling. If I am sore, but want to do something, I swim or walk. I will get at least one really good cardio day, hopefully two that is usually HIIT or intervals of some sort.

Chicken fajitas. I make them on Monday and eat them all week for dinner...at least once a month. Monday with a tortilla like a true fajita, then I use the leftovers in different ways...a rice bowl, lettuce wrap, quesadilla, or in a salad.

I reset by planning my weekly meals and going to the store with that list. This is especially helpful to me after a weekend of going overboard. I still fit treats in though. I always feel better when I eat healthier options, you think that would be enough to make it easy, but for some reason it isn't.

Thanks for the help, there are several bike shops nearby. Just don't want them to try and upsell me. I will see what I can do about dragging a friend along. My friends either don't bike at all or they have high end bikes and I know I don't want to spend the kind of money that they have invested.

Agree with this....I move my incline and speed around a lot. Right now I am stuck with just using the stationary bike due to some back issues and it is boring me to tears. I sometimes have music and the TV going and messing with the numbers.

I like to bake and generally do well, but my mom gave me a recipe for tiramisu cupcakes. Not sure what happened, but they were not right. They tasted fine, but looked bad....I turned them into a tiramisu trifle.

Yes, I did this with a stone casserole dish, luckily it didn't shatter and the family ate whatever was in it and then threw the dish away.

There are some younger kids that come into the gym I belong to, they are always with parents if they are that young. Last night there was a boy 10-12 working out, we kind of did his own thing, but the dad was watching him like a hawk. I think it is good that the family is working out together.

I let myself download new music for any weight loss, I bought new gym shoes at 50 pounds, a new grill at 100 pounds...then I stopped rewarding myself. I had to buy a lot of clothes along the way I think I need to bring it back.

I eat very similar food for breakfast and lunch for a period of time and change up dinner every week or so. Mostly dinner is the same Monday - Thursday because I am cooking for one. Just start adding herbs and spices, it does help a lot. For the veggies, I roast them, makes them taste different than raw or steamed

I will say that all the posts complaining about the gym make me realize how lucky I am. I love my gym. Occasionally I have to wait for the power rack, but never very wrong and can usually get something done while I wait. Yes, my gym only has one....we are a good group that learned sharing as kids I guess.

My furry friend rarely wants to play ball or anything else when we are home...as soon as I lay down on the floor, every toy he has ends up next to me.

My dog loves to go to the park for walks and since I live in a condo, I have to take him for walks multiple times a day. Gets me off the couch :) He is also my training buddy when I train for the running part of the triathlon. Too bad I can't take him to the race with me.
