Mine have pretty much stopped the comments when I eat healthy lunches since I have been at it for 5 years, but now if I eat something that is no quite so healthy, I get the "are you really gonna eat that?" I was actually very happy when someone commented not long ago that I was the healthiest eater in the department. Of…

Take pictures, they are the best motivation around. When I didn't see any changes in myself even though I had lost a decent amount of weight, I could look at the pictures and see the changes. It helps a lot! I think the weighing yourself everyday is a personal preference. I weigh myself once a week for the most part.

All True! It has made finding my bra size difficult

I scrapbook, make jewelry, cook, read, watch movies...I need more active workouts :) I guess my gym time is a hobby though too.

I log my day first thing in the morning during the week. I have planned my meals and cooked most of them ahead on Sunday and Monday. I tend to follow it more if I do. My weekends are not as planned though and I do those as I go.

Ditto! I have no clue unless it is shameless, over the top flirting with the cheesy lines

[/quote] Also, the cold, oh my lord the cold. I've never been a cold person, I used to wear short sleeves in winter and now I'm constantly wearing long sleeves. How bad is it going to be once I'm at goal? [ quote] I am also cold all the time. I have a space heater in my office that I use almost every day. It has been this…

That was great, I try to explain this to people all the time when someone says "They said eggs(or whatever) is bad for me". First I ask who "they" is and then I tell them to look and you will find an article spouting the exact opposite. My Mom is the worst about this. She finds an article that supports her likes and…

I think a combination of both. Cardio burns a lot of calories and is good for your heart, lifting weights helps you hold on to some of your muscle while losing the weight. I prefer lifting over cardio, but I still do some of both. I lost over 100#s, gained a little back because I don't eat like I should, but back on track…

I had hip replacement surgery over 4 years ago, the one thing the doctor told me not to do is run. I still do occasionally, but it is more of a run/walk. My first big fitness goal was a sprint triathlon, which I have now done several. I run/walk the run portion, and found one that the run is only 2.5 miles. I have also…

I started working on fitness goals well before I got close to my final weight loss goal. Lately I have been having problems coming up with a fitness goal that excites me as far as cardio.

This makes me sad, I have all the same friends I had before plus now I have friends that I have met at the gym and through gym friends. The skinnier friends aren't very good friends if they don't like you because you are skinny now. I am lucky to have the friends I have, I have known this for a long time.

I don't have much of a booty, but it is better than it used to be. Squats and lunges. I am not doing weighted hip thrusters, not sure if it will build the booty or not, but I am hoping.

I am like that when I swim. The first couple laps feel awesome, then I want to quit, then I finally find a rhythm and the swim feels a whole lot better.

A girl in my dorm used to just eat the marshmallows on a daily basis. It was entertaining to watch her pick through the cereal, she really went at that bowl.

2 miles from home and 5 miles from work for my main gym. If I swim, its about a half mile from work.

I accidentally swam with mine on, but just two lengths, it worked afterwards! Good Luck

I have been bringing my mostly healthy lunch for over 5 years also and still get the responses from co-workers like "you have a healthily lunch today" or "are you on a diet?" They apparently will never understand that this is the way I eat.
-
I think people noticed on me pretty quickly. I lose in my face first. I do agree with others though, some people probably notice and just don't say anything. They don't want to offend you in anyway. I had the discussion with a male co-worker who finally said something to me at 45 pounds lost. He said he noticed a while…

Funny you say this, we were in the gym the other day and there was some quick fix on TV. My friend said he is going to market a new cleanse/weight loss product....Water. You get the whole plan for $20, it includes a water bottle.

Wow, just wow.

This is also why I got the One, I didn't want to wear it on my wrist everyday.

Ha, yes, as much as I work out and move more now, I still sit on the couch and play on my computer at night. I need to do more of the projects around the house....I just don't.
-
I have also been on one, unless I am doing a specific search for ideas. I pin way too much stuff that will never happen...DYI house projects, Craft projects, make my own body scrub/lip balm. I have better things to do with my time for the most part :)

If you don't want to use those things, start experimenting with spices, you can get tones of flavor with hardly any calories. Like dawnmcneil10 stated above, garlic, chili powder, cumin are all good. If you want more Italian, use garlic, basil, oregano. There are all sorts of combinations that make this delicious. I like…

I agree with the others telling you to keep shopping. My trainer didn't start with Oly bar lifting, but we always did dumbbells for deadlift, squat and bench. He progressed me up to the bar and now we do other lifts with the bar. This is all combined with other exercises too. He still has be watch videos that show me…
