  • I have 3 weeks left of insanity. So far its going great. Sent you a friend request. If anyone else wants to add me your more than welcome. I usually log all my workouts with a heart rate monitor and am on every day since I started.
  • I would say start over. I am on month 2 now and think the program is intended to be completed as advertised and all the workouts build up to either a rest day or recovery day. I know it's probably not what you want to hear but that's my 2cents. This is my second time doing Insanity. The first time I stopped about a month…
  • Just did my first day of month two. I must say it was tough. It kicked my *kitten* but I must say I feel great. I use a heart rate monitor and the calories burned were a lot higher than the first month. The only thing I don't like is the workout time jumps to about a hour.
  • My vote is for the FT4 too. Just got it about two weeks ago. So far I think it's great. Don't think you need anything with more options to start. Good luck in you HRM hunt.
  • Thanks, I think Insanity is great so far, the only thing it's missing it the upper body workout(only an through half way so ill have to finish to know for sure). I would love to try a p90x hybrid but one thing at a time. . When I did p90x I use to skip over some of Tony's talk too.
  • I'm a soon to be dad and I was wondering about when to work out once the baby arrives also. I am currently doing Insanity and it is great. I do it once I get home from work first thing. I tried to workout in the morning and wake up early but am not a morning person and always feel drained. I also tried P90X for a while and…
  • I'm in my fourth week of Insanity. I am not following the diet plan but so far I think it is great. I feel better. I would recommend a heart rate monitor with a calorie count also. I just bought the Polar FT4. It inspires me to beat my calorie burned count every workout. Good Luck to you.
  • Hi, I have been creating custom workouts in MFP for each insanity workout. Then once I do each workout you can go to recent and then add that same workout and then edit the calories. (If you dont have a heart rate monitor, I would guestimate about 500calories per workout). I just bout a HRM and they are averaging 500 to…
  • Thanks for the friend add. Good luck to you. The workouts are great and the Polar HRM is helping me try to beat my workouts every time I do them.
