I don’t eat back the calories, but I do try to achieve the higher protein and dietary fiber goals for the day while not going over my original calorie goal.

I’ve noticed that when I consume too much sodium, I do in fact gain weight, but it is only temporary. I think it is just water weight gain. After a couple days of eating well, the weight disappears and I weigh less than before. That leads me to believe sodium didn’t actually make me gain weight, just hold on to more water…
