It read, "One day you will no longer be able to do this, TODAY is NOT that day." Its very simple but works every time! Been repeating this to myself all season this year and have now ran 4 PRS. Good…

As a distance runner, I've dealt with a lot of injuries. A knee injury interrupted my 2012 training in fact. I thought i was done running forever. It hurt in the middle of the run, walking stairs, all activity, etc. Found out it was tendonitis and while it doesn't go away, I just have to take an anti-inflammatory and brace…

Check to see if you have changed anything else first - laundry detergent, sheet material, clothing material, etc. Any major changes could have triggered a reaction. This could also be caused by increased sweat from new or more intense workouts, especially if you don't shower immediately after. And if you say its more like…

Really? Some effort, well here's some news for you - I run marathons, 5 to be exact. Thousands of miles. 26.2 painful miles of hell 5 times over. But I still manage to gain weight every training season. Why? Because I'm HANGRY - ALL THE FREAKING TIME. When the marathon is over, I'm still just as hungry with a different…

^^^This is a great idea, at every major race that I run there's was a "used" shoe stand. Its always at chicago marathon expo and all it means is that the shoes were returned because someone didn't like them within the 30 days and there is nothing wrong with them. They are usually half off too and they are all brand names.…

Well if you eat them ( as well as anything) in mass amounts, they contribute to weight gain. But white bread is highly processed and do you really want that crap entering your body? Eat them in small quantities if you enjoy them, but try switching to healthier options that tend to me more filling like whole grain bread,…
