I confess that I can actually bend down and cut/polish my toe nails without unbuttoning my pants because my stomach is no longer in the way of me bending over (LOL).

I have a pair of New Balance that are very low around the ankles. I was having trouble with the higher sneakers rubbing against my ankles when twisting. My instructer recommends sneakers with circular treads to make it easier when doing turns.

Well my DVD finally arrived yesterday. I watched level 1 last night. I wanted to see what it was like before I actually started. I thought, "oh, this is going to be easy. If you can make it to a local class, try to go. Zumba is much more fun when doing it with a room full of other people

Polar with a chest strap. Don't make the same mistake I did. I bought a sportline without a chest strap the first time. Worked terrible. Your better off spending the extra money on a Polar and having one that works accurate.

Today will be the first time since January I am not logging my food. I do have to say, though, I was very careful with portion sizes, I did not over eat and I did get in a good walk. I just ate food that for the past four months I have been avoiding. Treat yourself to a "free" day today.

I posted this question last week. I got some really good advice and decided to order the 30 day shred. It won't be here until Monday, so I haven't started yet. I got it on WalMart.com and with shipping only cost $10.79.

1-2 pounds a week is best. Losing slower retrains you on your eating habits, not just losing weight. You don't want a fast fix, but a lifetime of eating and exercising healthy.

I do not eat back my exercise cals. I am losing 1-2 pounds a week, which is a healthy lose. However, I think everyone is different and it depends on your own metabolism.
