  • I do not track calories anymore. I did MFP about 3 years ago and lost over 30 lbs. The calorie counting became too much like work for me. Within 1 year I gained back all, plus another 10. Truth is, I know I won't count calories forever, so this time I am just learning to eat the right foods. I am making this a life change,…

  • I think everyone has to find what is right for them. You need to find an exercise that you EJOY doing. I love Zumba and also walking. I do make myself do the 30DS a few times a week. But I am starting to see resuls from the shred in my muscle tone, so I am liking that better. If you enjoy doing the workout, you are more…
  • Friend request sent!!
  • I had one week before I hit my goal weight that I didn't lose. But the next week I lost 2.5 lbs. Sometimes other factors (water weight, sodium) keep the scale from moving. Give it another week, before you make any changes to your routine.
  • My favorite is just olive oil and balsamic vineager
  • FABULOUS!!! Congratulations!!!
  • It sounds like you need a little protein. When I got home from Zumba today I felt light headed. I grabbed 17 almonds, about 100 cals, it was gone in no time.
  • I had a butt before I started this program. Now I don't have one at all. I wish we could pick and choose where the weight comes off. I used to have about a 4" difference between the smallest part of my waist and my hips/butt. Now it is less than an inch. I am trying to adjust to losing so much of my curves. However, on a…
  • I agree with you, I don't think it is bad. I focus mainly on eating fruits, veggies and protein. Now if I go over my carbs, I don't think that is good. If I stay under my sodium, I think that is a great.
  • I allow myself 2 free meals a week. By no means do I mean I binge, I usually stay within my cals. But I eat food I normally don't let myself eat, like a burger or pizza. By not completely depriving myself, it allows me to stay focused the rest of the time.
  • Great for you!!! Wonderful job!!!

  • I'm in!!! I too started and failed, so on and so on. I will restart with you Monday. I also do Zumba 3 days a week, so I will do the SHRED on the other days. No way I can do Zumba and SHRED in the same day! (except maybe Sundays when I could take a break in between). I will do my measurements tomorrow and post them in my…
  • I love answering this question. I am 5'4" (small frame) and started t 162. I set my goal at 125, after going online to several sites and figuring out I should weigh somewhere between 120-132. When I got to the lower 140's, I realized that 125 was going to be too low. I reset my goal to 135 lbs. I hit my goal about a week…
  • I am also 5'4" and 134 lbs. I don't quite know what you mean by the snowman shape. My issue with my stomach is that before losing weight, I had about a 4" inch difference between the smallest part of my waist and my hips (I was curvey). I now have less than a 1" difference. I have definetly lost more in my hips and butt…
  • I so have this same problem. It can be very frustrating. I'm 5' 4" sending a friend request.
  • I can now bend over and cut/polish my toenails without unbuckling my pants!!!(LOL)
  • I have 2 "free" meals a week. And, yes, sometimes it is a burger.

  • I do both, but am having trouble getting through the Shred. But I will keep going at it. Practice makes perfect!!!
  • I have been doing Zumba since January. Believe me, a 1 hour Zumba class is easier than 20 minutes of shred. But all the advice is right, it will get easier. New exercises just take time to get used to.
  • I bought mine recently and can't get through level 1. I am going to try it again today without the weights. Just to see if I can at least get through the workout. They I will gradually add in the weights again. I think it will be a while before I hit level 2. Just hang in there. I am sure it gets easier.
  • I am 5' 4" and small framed. I started at 162 lbs. I had gone online to try and find out what I should weigh, a couple different sites told me 120 to 132 lbs. I orignally set me goal at 125 lbs, middle of the road. However, when I got into the lower 140, I realized that 125 would probably be too low for me. I adjusted my…
  • What a WONDERFUL post. I agree with you 100%. I have used all the tips you listed the last 5 months and last Thursday morning (I only get on the scale once a week, Thursday mornings) not only met, but exceeded my goal weight by 1 lb. I did not deprive myself of any food I might crave, just made sure it was occasional. I…
  • I am actually going for a professional bra fitting tomorrow. I can't figure out on my own what I am now. I have measured myself and bought several new bras and brought them all back. But I went for a professional fitting about a year and a half ago and I was at 38DDD. I am hoping to be at least a C.
