It's always hard when you start out! Once you see the weight coming off it will be worth all of your effort! Keep going, right now it seems like a chore but the reward is worth it. You will find it gets easier and that you get more excited because of the difference you are seeing in yourself! Good Luck!! YOU CAN DO IT!0

Look at my picture. YES its hard and you will be sore the next day, Take a break between each day if you need to. DONT GIVE UP it does get easier, At about day 5 You will start to feel stronger. Do it at your level dont hurt yourself. It pays off I promise Keep going and yell at Jillian when she is kicking your butt. If you need a person to support you friend me and Ill help you get through Im on day 17 level 2 but I dont do it everyday cause when I hurt I dont do it.0

I bought mine recently and can't get through level 1. I am going to try it again today without the weights. Just to see if I can at least get through the workout. They I will gradually add in the weights again. I think it will be a while before I hit level 2. Just hang in there. I am sure it gets easier.0

Hang in there! It does get easier. I have 30 day Shred, Shred it with Weights and her newest, Ripped in 30. They are all hard at first but get easier with consistency and dedication! You are on your way to a healthier you! :happy:0

it is really tough but stick with it! I am on day 4 of level 3 and so far have lost 11.5 inches and 17lbs. It is hard but you get results0

It gets easier. Just keep trying and so what if you have to stop on every thing she does. It is all good! Eventually you will get it. I've been doing it not everyday but alot and I still have issues with jumping jacks and jumprope. I have some major shin splints right now. I have had them for a couple of months so I just have to modify it. All in good time it will come and you will be able to do it!0

u can do it! its gonna get better and easier each time u workout. dont stop because its gonna be that much harder for u. just push thru it u can make it!0

Keep up the great work! You CAN do it. I know it's hard because I did it just a couple of weeks ago and felt like I was going to die but it's totally worth it. You will be sore the next day but it's a good soreness. Just keep up doing it and you'll be at your goal weight in no time. You'll be a happier healthier being! KEEP IT UP!!!0

Keep at it...it will get easier! I start shredding tomorrow but I do zumba and it will whip ya. It got easier with time....just push through and it's ok to stop for a second to rest. Good luck and cannot wait to see your results because your gonna do awesome!!!0

I soooooo agree with you! I did day 1 level 2 yesterday, 25 minute workout with a 1 hour ecovery!
Push through, and you will find level 1 gets easier....its true what Jillian says, by day 5/6 you will be more used to it!
Good Luck!0 -
Dont beat yourself up about it hun, its a very hard DVD, 1st time i started it I couldnt move for the next few days and have only done bits and pieces, I am going to start it again from fresh tomorrow, but rather than doing it everyday going to do every other day and keep to Level 1 until i feel ready to move up a gear to level 2, probably when i can do level 1 and complete it!
Add me if you want and we can motivate each other on it!0 -

I have been doing Zumba since January. Believe me, a 1 hour Zumba class is easier than 20 minutes of shred.
But all the advice is right, it will get easier. New exercises just take time to get used to.0 -
I started it this week too and I've been in so much pain, but I did Day 3 Level 1 today and I actually found it a lot easier! Keep at it, you can do it!!!!0

You're going to get addicted! At least, I did. After doing Level 1 a few times, I started looking forward to the rain (sweat) dripping on the floor. I have now purchased Ripped in 30 and Shred It with Weights (for Kettlebell). I love them ALL and do them at least 6 days a week. They kick your butt, no questions asked. But they WORK. They make you WORK. And when you're all drippy, hot, and sweaty gross, smile because that water you're downing is just one more step towards a healthier you.0

Dont do full jumping jacks kick on leg out front at a time with your arms going its about getting your heart rate up for the cardio, running on the stop with the jump rope. That can also help with the impact of jumping on your knees. Keep abs tight no matter what your doing on the shred. If you cant do the jumping do the boxing when she does the jumping jacks.
Also remember its not a diet its learning to eat differently staying within range.
Be proud that your making a change for YOU!0 -
So how you doing what day are you on now?0
