  • I'd give it a try, wouldn't make a promise.
  • Similar story, figure I'll keep donating as long as I can. I'm one of the lucky ones, mine is still growing fast. Donated last August, probably would be able to do it again by Christmas time.
  • Usually my wife trims mine, profile pic is right before I donated a foot to locks of love. 20 years of buzzing it down to the scalp, seven years of "normal" hair and then didn't cut it for three years to be able to donate it. Back down to below the shoulders again, probably donate again in another year or so.
  • The tilt with the smile!
  • Buy the adjustable ones, that way you can always add weight when you need to. Right now you can buy the basic 40lb sets for around 40 bucks, individual plates go for around a buck a pound. 40lb set gets you two 20lb 'bells, if that isn't enough for you then get a set of 2.5 or 5 lb plates to add to it.
  • Dude, you obviously are not horrible at this, 193 at that time! Good guess!
  • Dudes, I do not think there is enough room on this forum to wrap up all the things I love most about my wife. Fell in love with her the first night I met her, 23 years ago, and not a bit has changed. She has the purest heart, even though she's had a fairly miserable life with numerous family tragedies and a horrific first…
  • 130. Lol, accidently entered 310, glad I caught that before I posted it!
  • Really depends on you and what you're doing. For exercises like squats and deadlifts, barbells are easier to manage with the bigger weights, but for most other exercises I actually prefer to use dumbells as you can isolate the muscles worked better and you incorporate a lot of the little balance muscles that come into play…
  • Dumbbells, Medicine Ball, Jump Rope and Bodyweight. Just this week added sandbags and a slosh-pipe, I tell you no lie those two little jems are about to become my favorite pieces of equipment. It's a totally different workout than standard weights or resistance, really tags all your support muscles and makes it feel more…
  • So did the vast majority of the ladies where I worked, although some did openly express their envy. Like my boss. And for OP, I use an organic line from Design based on Olive Oil, shampoo and conditioner both. Even with every day washing I have never had dry hair or dry scalp.
  • Not a lady, but mine was down to my lower back until three weeks ago. Washed it after every workout, five to six times a week, and always let it air dry. Would get the occassional dirty look as I was heading back to the desk with a wet head, but then again most guys in government offices with hair down their back get dirty…
  • Thanks for the input, everyone, I do appreciate it. Guess I'll take a little break for a week or so and re-evaluate my routines. Thanks again.
  • I think Roly may be right, it really sounds like you might be overdoing it some. I only do around 25 - 30 minutes total a day, but it's 25 - 30 minutes of non-stop high intensity routine. Mon - Tues - Thurs - Fri 5 - 10 minutes Jump Rope 1 Minute Pushups 1 Minute Abs 1 Minute Lower Body Repeat the Pushups - Lower Body…
  • Have you tried straps? I used to have the same problem, (actually probably do again now as I haven't been working my grip very much), I would bust as many as I could hanging not using the straps (mine were actually hooks, worked just like the straps though), then flip the hooks over and get the remainder with the hooks.…
  • I have to ask, did you get a check up prior to starting your exercise routine? Without knowing anything about your medical history or physical fitness level, it really would be totally irresponsible for anyone to try and offer advice or "diagnose" your symptoms. I would really recommend having a checkup and make sure you…
  • I do this four times a week: Five minute warm up (I usually jump rope but you could do jumping jacks) 1 minute pushups / burpees / body builders (Vary your pushups with different widths, put your feet on the bed, etc) 1 minute abs / planks 1 minute squats or lunges No rest in between exercises, repeat that cycle four times…
  • Hey Steph I had the same questions, and I know a lot of those charts don't have the exact exercises you may be doing, so I made up a little worksheet that figures out calories expended based on your heart rate and the time exercised. Feel free to use it if you want, link is below. If you decide to use it, you'll see where…
  • Anyone have any input?
