I was at 250 (woman, 5'3") and got an exercise bike seat (seemed like 4" of padding) because my butt and hips hurt way too much without that cushion. Then I was able to enjoy it.... although my self-consciousness because of people's comments (about others, when I was present) about "look at the size of that *kitten*..."…

Yes! I am only 5'3" tall, but I always felt big & strong. I weighed 280 at my highest. I built sheds, put down flooring, handled 80 pound bags of grain (not easily, but managed them). (I stopped eating out (too much fried foods) & cut almost all fats from my diet.) At that point, the weight loss stopped, even though I did periodic…

I love coffee drinks. with cream & sugar (in my past.) With cream & sweetener (also in my past...). Now, I'm using EADS Carb Advantage RTD shakes or Atkins shakes, as the creamer. It adequately takes care of making the coffee creamier, and takes the bitterness off. It also reduces the calories & the fat. Win-win, to meet…

Scales that try to calculate the BMI use an electrical current, that is NOT accurate. Based on height & weight, you're at 25.1 per National Institute of Health calculator (http://www.nhlbi.nih.gov/guidelines/obesity/BMI/bmicalc.htm). Apparently there is a basic calculation that is simply arithmatic. However, because we…
