Your protein levels look a little low to me. Ive been told 60g a day is the minimum by dietician. You could ad something like tofu to give you a change from nuts?

Its worth trying lots of water and good nights sleep. I cannot control my food intake if I am tired or dehydrated.

Gyms have showers for a reason, you are SUPPOSED to get hot an sweaty. If they don't then they either aren't working hard enough or there is something medically wrong with them. Our public gyms are brilliant, no-one talks to anyone, no-one looks at you and everyone just gets on with their work out. Ideal :)

Having a lap band doesn't mean that you don't have to take supplements for the rest of our life. It does mean that you still have to weigh and measure everything and keep a very close count of the calories. For some people it is very successful but for many of us its still a daily struggle and we don't lose the amount of…

Having a lapband may help to cut your portion sizes but it will not help you make the right choices. I have found that I am now struggling to be able to eat the healthy proteins and veggies but can guarantee that cakes and chocolates will always go down, and stay down. as others have said think very carefully about why you…

Keep going and look at the big picture. This is going to be a very long battle but you can win in the end as long as you dont give up!

Not low fat but it does taste divine. BLACK BETTY. 8oz plain flour, 3 tablespoons cocoa, 1 Tspoon bicarb of soda, 8oz sugar, half Tspoon salt, 5 tablespoons cooking oil, 1 tablespoon vinegar, 1 Tspoon vanilla essence, half pint cold water, > Beat everything together.(electric whisk?) Pour into greased & lined tin (round…

You can get gluten free pasta that tastes ok. In the UK there is one aimed at toddlers that is boil in the bag and is a small portion so less temptation.

Surgery is not a magic wand. It will not help you make the 'right' decision of what to put in your mouth. If you eat the wrong things you will still fail to lose the weight, or regain it. BUT if you really feel that there is no other way to lose the weight and you feel it is right for you then go for it. Just make sure you…
