Great work! I've been reading a lot of good things about lifting and want to incorporate it into my workouts once I buy some weights. So far I've lost weight just from counting calories and light to moderate cardio, but I think if I want to see more changes from this point lifting is the way to go.

When I first started MFP I exercised so that I could eat more calories, but now I don't feel as hungry so I sometimes eat exercise calories back. I know people who always eat them back, people who never do, and people who eat like half of them back, so it's up to you. See how you feel and just make sure your not starving…

Yes, I set four goals for this year. Get out of the obese bmi category. Check. Weigh 150 lbs by my friends wedding in August. Weigh less than my husband who is also losing weight. Weigh 135 lbs by the end of the year. Didn't do anything to celebrate the first milestone, but plan on buying new clothes and a nice dress for…

Great work! Very motivational for me as I'm about the same height and have a similar amount to lose.

Wow! Congrats!

Great work! Love the charting! I also wish I had taken pictures right when I first started for comparison.

Did you do all 30 days in a row? I've heard some people space it out a little to build in rest.

Congrats! Great work! Thanks for the tips :-)

Wish I had this problem. Just eat larger portions of the food you are already eating or add in foods you really enjoy.

I'm 5'3" and looking for some motivation and friends who are also short. I started the beginning of the year at 195 lbs and I'm now 168 lbs. My goal is 130-135 lbs, but it seems like I'm never going to get there.

Wow great work!

Wow you look great in both photos. I needed to hear a story like this where the scales don't matter. Also, agree with whoever said no one else knows your weight and isn't going to assume you weigh as much when you look good. I'm a little shorter than you and everyone my height says I should aim for 115-120 lbs but I dont…

Congrats! I'm so close to losing 30 lbs as well :-)

Congrats to the weight loss and graduation!

You look great. Thanks for the motivation. I see some of my friends losing weight faster using fad diets, shakes, pills, etc., but I refuse to use them as I don't believe they are sustainable. I'm trying to change my life to be healthier not just lose weight fast. It may be slower going for me but its worth it.
