I'm obese and have a smaller chest...smaller than most my height and weight. 42/44C But, I'd rather be flat chested and hit my Onederland and lower (and be healthy) than have a chest.

Me too! I go every Sunday for the $1.29 sale. I even get jeans and shirts too small to use as motivation and mini goals. I am down only one size right now. I have 3 pairs of jeans to fit into and try them on every week to see how close to getting them buttoned or zipped. I also shop clearance for things to just get me to…

Mine is my first Color Run with the Iowa State Capitol in the background.

Anytime I feel like it. But, the only one I record (when I can stay on schedule) is Monday evenings at the gym. Around the same time, and always the same scale.

Where are all the Dr. Who fans....Adipose! The Adipose were a race of vaguely humanoid blobs of fat. Young Adipose were hand-sized, marshmallow-shaped beings, composed almost entirely of fat. They had two eyes and a mouth, two arms with webbed hands and two stumpy legs. Most Adipose had what appeared to be a single tooth.…

Great description...but a little scary thinking I looked like that my first time. I only lasted about 5 minutes and my knees killed me that I stayed off of it for probably a year. It made a difference when I asked the trainer about it and found out it has an incline. LOL. That's what happens when you just try to do things…

I just cut my zucchini in rectangles that look like huge fish sticks or patties. I put in a baking pan, measure out the sauce and put on top of how many ever pieces. Then I measure out my cheese and sprinkle. Cover pan with foil and bake at 350 until the zucchini is cooked through. Quicker than making noodles and is just…

Yes. And even better when I find a coupon on coupon.com and you can stack them with the in store coupons....and get even more off. Fareway (our local grocery store) has GM Cheerios and Reese's Puffs cereal 4/$8 with a coupon for $4 off 4. And, I can always find a coupon for Big G Cereal. That makes it less than $1 a box…

i don't eat cereal..or haven't in over 3 months. I still buy my daughter her Fruity Pebbles and Cinnamon Toast Crunch (its all about moderation). I have found that my food bill has gone down. 1. Buying less diet pop (not totally stopped though I tried, but cut out a ton). 2. Buying less processed stuff. 3. Buying less food…

I started at 20 minute miles and now walk around 17 minute miles (in a 3 month time frame). I went to the track and timed myself one day pushing myself to try and go as fast as I could...and was so proud of myself for completing a mile in 14 minutes and 33 seconds.

I used to be whenever I felt like it, every few days. But, only count Monday evenings from the scale at the gym, not my home scale. However, it has become more frequent because I just broke into a new 'ten' at 249, and I'm 1 & 1/2 pounds from my first 20 pounds! I don't follow the ups and downs, I don't see how foods…

I'll post then go see who to add! Wouldn't mind friends around the same stats as me: 45, single, mom (of a 10 yo dd), CW 249, 5' 7". Though welcome (most) others. I'm chatting and post on my own wall pretty much daily. Very random cr*p. (I don't hang with people who don't believe you need the minimum daily calorie intake…

You look amazing and soooo happy!

LOL..this. I've learned that whatever works for you...do it. I've found my groove I'm keeping it. I'm here to watch the raccoon! :drinker:

Thank you for sharing. You look amazing.

Doesn't bother me the same as it doesn't bother me to tell people I'm 45. Usually I get the 'You carry your weight well"...whatever that means...lol. I carry it all over and not well at all, but quite unwell. Anyway heaviest was 275 before pregnancy and held 250 after pregnancy for 9 years. Since last year I've gained that…

Our local grocery store prints coupons on the back of your receipt for buy one get one (6" or 12") with purchase of fountain drink...good until the end of the year. I can get 2 footlongs (and the pop & usually one bag of chips for my dd) for under $10. Makes 2 meals a piece for my daughter and me. Otherwise, yeah, I'd…

Thank you and best of luck to you too!

I can't wait. I have way too many clothes now that I don't wear. I told my sister when I get down 2 to 3 sizes they are all going! In the meantime I shop thrift stores. Every Sunday our Goodwill has a color tag (tail they call them) for $1.29. I pick up stuff here and there as goal pieces to get into. I'm a single mom and…

I'm in love...with that sandwich! Yum. But, I usually get roast beef on whole wheat, no cheese, spicy mustard. Then lettuce, tomato, cucumbers, onion, green peppers. Occasionally a few jalapenos.

Congrats! Come down to Iowa and do RAGBRAI next year!

A few years ago every time I'd get home from McDonalds drive thru I'd notice my pies were expired. So, I complained. They sent me a few free meals. The next time I went thru and got a pie and went home...no stickers at all. Problem solved...lol. But, I don't eat at McDonalds anymore. I will never give up Subway. Our local…

I think my daughter made me watch Meet The Robinsons way too many times. It made my motto - Keep Moving Forward. I say it, use it, and think about it a lot.

Fried chicken with mashed potatoes and gravy, and corn. A regular staple several times a week growing up on a farm. Took me years after moving to town to eat fried chicken, drink milk (wasn't fresh from the cow anymore) and eat eggs. Ate too many eggs on the farm since we had an abundance. I love them again now.

Great job. Just confirms that it may be hard work, but I can do this at 45!
-
You look great. Wonderful job! Keep it up. It's very inspiring!

I check several times a week. But I only enter my Monday late afternoon reading at the gym before I workout (only had a few exceptions to this). I use the same scale each time and try to have similar t-shirt and shorts on. It's whatever works best for you!

I don't know the dream size I'd like to be. But, right now I'm waiting for the day I can shop in a store that doesn't even carry plus size!
