Sent you request. I'm 45 single mom of one. I'm going to do this too! It is so TIME isn't it?! Though I registered over a year ago, I have only been on a few weeks and logging for one week. I could use a friend.

chocolate, OREOS, chocolate, OREOS, chocolate, OREOS...not always in that order.

That is genius! I would only add that I would pack something in your purse for emergency so you don't go too long when you are hungry and then over indulge later. Protein bar or like the 100 calorie almond packs. On the go easy to travel in purse without being detroyed to get you by in a pinch. I know I get sick and crabby…

Agree.

Good for you. And, I agree. I know now that calories are not created equal. It took me the hard way to figure it out. In fact today, I had frozen pizza and my stomach is killing me. Wasted calories. The more I get used to less processed and sugary foods the better I feel, the harder I exercise, and the less cravings I…

B4 I started using MFP I would do that. I would go walk off my ice cream before I allowed myself to eat it. Go walk, then relax with my little 'bowl' of ice cream. Since MFP I add treats into my count and have less cravings anyway.

Mine is Diet Dew. In fact today is day one cold turkey. I am drinking more water, trying to not (yet) take ibuprofen, and tried some icky peach green tea...BLAK! I did have a small Chai. I am going to try unsweetened tea in limited quantities and more water. I think one a day would be fine. But, I know me, and I can't have…

This is the most motivational posting I have seen. It makes me giddy and excited to have any and all these problems some day. Sounds crazy I know. I have lots of too tight too small clothes in my closet from the daydreaming of one day I'll fit into them. That means if (WHEN) I hit all my goals I won't run out of things to…

Yep. Because anything anyone says won't matter if you aren't ready and willing. I'm 45, and have been overweight and moved into obese starting when I was 15. I'm trying...but who knows where I'll end up. Anything anyone said or did never mattered. Parts of it still haven't clicked into place in my head. But, I want it. I…

Yes! My heels were hurting and my nephew who runs a lot told me to loosen my laces. I was trying to strap those puppies on tight lol! But, I would say that of all I've tried over the years...I love love love every pair of Saucony's I have and have had. The only thing I don't like is my big toenail goes up and out the tops…

What kind? Light? Full flavor? Just one serving? Just curious. My daughter loves ice cream, so it seems to be in the house a lot. I just try to ignore it or by my own snacks instead.

I can't like myself for using up that many calories on a snack/cheat. I bought the Weight Watchers Chocolate Creme Cakes today. Hoping the little 3 bites of 90 calories will push off my chocolate craving. I have found out that if I ignore it and not treat myself I'll binge. Like, I'll want 2 big bags of M&Ms - almond and…

Sounds yummy. When it says rotate fries, I hope that means flip them because that would help crisp them up...not 'rotate' them. I just tongs and take the time to turn each one. Yeah, I want my stuff evenly crisp. :) My friend just gave me 3 huge zucchinis..so I want to make the homemade baked chips (not fries) with them. I…

Wow...that's what I had for breakfast. Didn't feel like making anything so I could get to work. Hey...got some protein in instead of skipping breakfast.

My ex-fiance's son went through this. When they wired your jaw shut they should have given you sample ideas to blend up. Otherwise I'm sure you can find recipes and ideas online. Though you want to lose that last 10-15 pounds your main concern is getting the nutrients you need.....not only calorie intake but…

And water, water, water. I'm so bad at that. I have started using and refilling a 32 oz bottle, then pouring into my glass so I can keep track of my ounces. Then at the end of the day I'm always shaking my head in shame that I haven't hit enough.

I'm fairly new on here too. But my trainer is going to review my food log weekly. It's keeping me motivated to start (day 2 logging but have been at this for over 5 weeks lol). Her point is when I weigh in she can help me determine what food triggers I have that cause me to gain or what is working to lose. And, then also…

Blend it as a dip - Me too..it's like a really old Weight Watcher's recipe my mom used to do when I was young. I think it called for just a touch of lemon juice too...then whatever seasoning you want. That means lots of garlic in mine.
