  • My question would be - if you don't have any stomach issues now, and you know you will if you eat that dessert, is it really worth it? Most nice places have great paleo options - a roasted chicken with veggies (and I'll sometimes have the *gasp* taters), or a steak with veggies? Yum.

  • I use this recipe - it's foolproof, and patience (not my strong suit) is NOT required: http://www.seriouseats.com/recipes/2011/10/two-minute-mayonnaise.html I sub extra light olive oil (not extra virgin) for the veggie oil.

  • The Whole30 is designed for weight loss, so I don't think you will suffer for not counting calories. I did my whole30 in May/June and ended up losing 10lbs! So, I'd pay attention to your body, and focus on getting enough good fats and protein in your diet, and I think you should be fine (but I'm not an MD :D )
