Picking what you want before you even get there really helps me. Just don't even open that menu.

To be a healthy weight does not mean you can never eat a piece of cake again. Now just work on portion control. Instead of getting a huge piece of cake, bowl of icecream, etc. get a smaller portion. Eat your bbq (which has a good amount of protein) just forget the bun! Bring something that you know you will want to munch…

I always make sure I eat before I go hang out with friends! That way I am not even more tempted to grab what I know I shouldn't because I am hungry and it is there. If you are going out, decide what you want by looking online before you get there and then don't even open the menu. It helps me a lot.

I would say focus on lifting weights too. Not only do you burn the fat better but you become confident in what your own body can do. When I started I could barely even do a "girly pushup". Now I can proper push up right along next to the boys.

I eat a lot of plain chicken breast, ground chicken, salmon, tuna, greek yogurt, and egg whites.

5'6 with a goal weight of 145-150. I am working on weight training too though so I am not worried about my weight as much since I will have muscle mass.

I plan my whole day around being able to eat icecream at the end of it!

I follow IIFYM and it has really helped kickstart my weight loss! I wasn't losing but about a pound a month. I am up a little bit right now but I am down 14 pounds overall!

I am working with a nutritionist and he says to take the calories, divide it by 4, and that add that to your carb total.

I count my macros and the very first thing I enter is a bowl of icecream at the end of the day, the build my day around that. I eat based around icecream.

Yes! I am so glad I have done this. I have not always lost "scale" weight but the pictures make the biggest difference. You look at yourself everyday so you don't see the little changes your body makes. Making comparisons (I use the Pic Stitch app) has helped keep me going!

Yes maam! My calories always end up being really close by the time I hit those numbers! I am almost dead on everyday, which is actually a lot better than I used to do. Seems like I was always way under or over.

You don't really have to do both. By the time I pre-plan my day, it pretty much equals what my calorie intake should be anyways. I like counting macros because for me personally it helps me pay attention to the choices I make. You can fill calories with anything. By having an example a protein goal to hit, I am going to…

I have counted calories for years. It never helped me. Now that I am counting macros, it helps make sure my body is getting the right amounts of what it needs. It has really helped me.
