  • Update: a month and a half later, and I got both feet off the ground! Thanks everyone!! namaste~
  • doyogawithme.com is a great site with an archive of yoga videos that focus on various styles, health issues, age groups, difficulty/experience levels. Most of the ones I've used haven't turned out to be disappointing at all :).
  • Simple headstand. I've been practicing for a month and I finally got it up without the wall! My goal is to get a scorpian down soon :). I'm also working on arm balance poses. Working on my crow pose. Hopefully by next month I can get myself off the ground :D
  • ~*~~ namaste sister ~~*~ :) I just added you!
  • I took a Kundalini workshop class this weekend (there was a toga festival going on :D) and my friend and I both fell in love with it! I've been doing more research about it, as well as meditation and chakras. It's a whole new world to explore and I love it more and more! Hopefully I can start going to classes next month…
  • I don't know if general kills have a list or anything about their vegan stuff. I check ingredient lists on everything, vegan brand or not. It's a habit I've grown since before evoking a vegan. I can tell you that cocoa puffs and lucky charms are vegan, as my fiancé and I both gets those:). I think trix are too.
  • Hello fellow shortiesss!!:) my name is Esmay and I'm 5'1". I am currently trying to recover from an eating disorder of 4 years. Relearning how to have a healthy relationship with food and body image, and--most importantly--with myself :). I'm also a vegan and self taught yogi. I love working out but history has shown that…

Most people make the mistake and associating veganism with a restriction of what can and can't eat/consume/buy. I try and show people…
  • Having a pedometer has helped immensely with keeping me motivated to constantly be moving around and be as active as I can be throughout the day (luckily, I have a job that also require me to be on my feet all day). Drinking lots of water and practicing clean eating and yoga has also helped with a steady weight loss.
  • Just talk to your fellow yogi's. Tell them that you're vegan and if it would be okay if something vegan friendly could be served along with the other foods that they serve. And if it's something that they don't know how to accommodate, then educate them and tell them some of your favorite vegan snacks and things. There are…
  • I was in a very similar position to where you are now. I still kind of am. I've tried to make a caloric goal of 1200 (which is the minimum intake that mfp will set for me, and I make sure I'm meeting it. A little under or over is okay. But sometimes it's still too triggering because 1200 is so high and I'm still not…
  • Esmay. I'm 23 and from New York. All my life has revolved around mental health issues.. everything about me is just wrong.. My eating disorder got the better part of me right after I had to take a medical leave from college for depression. I attempted suicide and became bitter and angry at the world and myself that I was…
