Anyone else have any helpful information?

I began losing weight when my hubby and I decided to do the Whole30 diet. I lost about 8 pounds after the 30 days. I now continue to follow a Paleo diet with some slip ups along the way. I have continued to lose weight without a lot of exercise. I hope to get more exercising in weekly to speed up the weight loss now that I…

Can anyone help me out?

I went 95% gluten free, dairy free and processed food free and lost most of my weight off my thighs and butt. My teenage daughter tells me I now have a flat butt. I don't know if it has anything to do with what I cut out of my diet or if that's just where my body decided to lose first but I'm not complaining.

I encourage everyone to try it. I am amazed how much better I feel since cutting out dairy (and gluten.) I know the dairy also affected my GI tract and now that I've cut it out, I can get away with having a little bit when I really want some. I also think that by not mixing it with gluten has made a big difference for me.

The Whole30 website has an abbreviated version of the book. Here's a link :http://whole9life.com/2012/08/the-whole30-program My hubby and I did a Whole30 and then began eating Paleo after. We learned that cutting out certain things made us feel so much better. My husband learned that eating gluten causes him to have more…

I don't eat much cheese since doing the Whole30. I find when I do it causes me to be gassy and bloated. It also makes my eczema worse. I tend to avoid all dairy but would think it doesn't have to be. If you want some cheese, choose organic and minimally processed is best.

I have found that not only lowering my calorie intake but actually eating "real" food, not processed, packaged stuff has made a huge difference. Not only in weight loss but also I just feel a lot better and feel like exercising. My two cents...:)

Thanks for sharing. It's definitely hard to give up chocolate!

I love to add a few garlic cloves, fresh ginger and onions as "seasoning." Beef broth and coconut aminos are good additions too. Amazon.com has quit a few Paleo slow cooker cookbooks. Some of the kindle versions are pretty cheap and you don't need a Kindle to get them.

Thanks for posting this! I agree with you completely! It really bothers me when those who haven't tried going GF come and try to tell us we don't know what we are doing, that it's not going to make a difference. Since going GF and DF, my eczema has cleared up, my sinus and stomach issues are gone and I no longer have knee…

It took me a good 4 weeks before my eczema cleared up completely. I did the Whole30 diet and now eat about 90% Paleo. I do not eat gluten or dairy and if I do, the next day I notice itchy eczema spots on my hands.

Wow! You look amazing! Love to hear you've had success by going gluten free. Some people just don't get why we would think going GF is going to help anything. I had a friend who thought I was crazy but then she let me open up and tell her all the good changes I have seen since going GF and now she is on her way to doing…

No matter what others say, if going gluten free makes you feel better, then it's the right choice for you.

Hello, I am very familiar with IBD. Our daughter has Ulcerative Colitis and our nephew has Crohn's. Have you ever heard of or tried the SCD diet? Our nephew cut out a lot of "inflammatory foods" and he is in remission now. Here's a link to an awesome website that some very knowledgable guys talking about healing from IBD…

It's not always easy but stick with it!! My hubby and I did the Whole30 in March and have pretty much stuck to the Paleo diet. We have seen many things change for the better. I learned my body does not like gluten or dairy. I am no longer gassy/bloated. I lost inches in my stomach without losing weight. I no longer have to…

I am so happy someone else has seen results from going gluten free. My hubby had migraines but they are gone now that he has gone gluten free!!

I use Salsa mixed with Daisy Light Sour Cream.

If you're going to eat a hot dog be smart and choose the healthiest option which in my opinion would be an Applegate Organic and Natural Beef Hot Dog. "This classic frank is made from quality cuts of natural beef with no added nitrites or chemical preservatives. It’s also lower in fat than most conventional beef franks."…

For those of you who want to find out if gluten is a problem for you, I would suggest trying the Whole30 diet. By cutting out gluten, dairy, grains, legumes, etc. for 30 days and then adding them back into your diet gradually, you will learn whether any of these food groups bother you. My brother, my husband and I all have…
