This, minus the ice cream and peanut butter pretzels. Add Doritos.

Flippin' awesome transformation! Congratulations on reaching your goal!

I walk regularly with two large dogs, so I get a pretty good upper body workout in addition to the walk but I calculate 175 calories per hour. Do you mind me asking how you calculate your walk?

You are fortunate that you don't have a lot of weight to lose, but I understand that you want it off now. What works for me may not work for you (I've still got another 30 lbs from 60 total that need to come off). I'm sticking with 1200 calories, cut back on carbs to 100 or fewer grams per day and make sure I get plenty of…

WW regular meetings provides a bit of motivation during the meetings, but the points system really isn't my thing. It's fairly healthy. That's all I know.

How's your activity level? I gained weight when I was working on my graduate degree due to inactivity. If you're taking "classes all the time" you might not be burning the calories as you were earlier in the year.

1200 calories and doin' just fine. Feel great, doctor is thrilled, lab work is MAJORLY improved (cholesterol, blood sugar, and B/P). The "trick" is consistency.

Sugar and fat are evil only if NOT served together.

Totally in! Added my name and weight (do we add our weight, or is everyone preferring to just add what we've lost?) I weigh every day, so whatever works for everyone else is great by me! Also, if you need help with maintaining the list or whatever, I'm here!

Depends on what you like and your budget! New pair of walking shoes? Electronic gadgets, books, earrings, new fragrance, upgrading a room with wallpaper or paint? The little goals are harder for me because I'm not terribly motivated by things, but when I hit my goal weight I know I'll go for an adventure of some sort...

Might want to check out the search function here...this topic bounces in and out all the time.

Whine wasn't misspelled.

Sure you want the beer? Sounds like you're a "whine" and cheese kinda' person. Trolling?

Do you have any idea how HUGE an accomplishment you've achieved from giving up cigs? Huge, girl. HUGE! Add to that you really haven't gained from the habitual snacking that often occurs when folks give up the nicotine . Another HUGE accomplishment. I'm sending you a virtual hug and a request that you stop beating yourself…

I'm jealous! We've lost about the same amount, and I'm not showing the loss like you are. This is absolutely amazing and what a MAJOR difference it's made for you. Be happy and check in when you reach your goal weight! GREAT job!

OMG! HOT AWESOMENESS!

Equal parts soy sauce and honey - doesn't take much. Bake or broil. Delish. Also incredible on salmon.

I think "self-sabotaging" is a misused and/or overused expression that gets blamed for other, more obvious issues such as losing focus on why we want to lose weight, sliding back in to old, unhealthy habits, impulse control issues, and or simply being lazy. Think about it...would you really want to be unhealthy? I've seen…

An adventure! Haven't zeroed in on what that means specifically (can't decide between white water rafting or a week long survival camp out or hiking in the Grand Canyon or?), but something physical, something that will get the heart pumping (beyond the treadmill). One thing is sure...those old Levi jeans I saved from years…

My "motivation" comes and goes, but my commitment is reinforced every morning (repeat: EVERY morning) when I weigh myself and every month when I track inches lost. It can be a little frustrating when the scale goes up instead of down and when the inches lost don't seem to be enough, but I continue on. Too, I think after…

Brown eyes means toxins? Uh, no. Genetics, yes. Mostly urban legend, but there are some medications and diseases that can cause a change in hue (not color). You look a little young for glaucoma...do you drink heavily? Both can create a halo effect of discoloration or if your liver's not functioning. Your skin can turn a…

Sorry, but gotta' ask: If you're 15, what are you doing on this site?

I can fully relate to the addiction. Coca~Cola addict here (but I'm in "recovery"). What I discovered several months back was that I grabbed a Coke every time I was thirsty...between morning coffee and Coke all day long, they were my only forms of hydration. So, I started drinking water...lots of water. That helped…

Greek non-fat yogurt Eggs Salmon Shrimp Halibut Tuna Almonds Walnuts Milk 1% String cheese Steak Chicken Pork Peanut butter Actually, that's the one macro I really have to monitor or I won't get enough so I mix it up a lot, but I did list in order of frequency.

Well, at least fight clean.

Oh, absolutely fine here! I was bump* and wanted to bump* but then the thread turned kinda' bump* so I decided to bump*. *(see below)

You don't know what you're talking about. You're WRONG! I eat avocado every day.
