Yes, five days per week, weights in the early a.m. and cardio boot camp at early p.m. Unless rain stops the night class. About eight months now. Recommend? It depends on what your training, threshold and recovery is. What is it like? Well accustomed to it now. Maybe took a little ramping up at the beginning. Now it feels…

Beautiful meat and veggie selection. I only cook with a 24hour surplus as the food becomes "off" after more than one day. Although soups and stews tend to taste better after aging a day than the initial one of cooking/consumption.

Search Consumer Reports Muscle Milk exposee where the protein powder had numerous fillers. There was a lawsuit and CR won. There was a very unofficial protein powder analysis done on reddit years ago which showed most manufacturers were short filling the protein content. It was not a proper study but that is all we have…

Forget calorie counting when sick. Make some homemade chicken soup and purchase some good bread for dipping in the liquid and eat often. Plenty of tea and liquids. Eat often. Sleep often. Eat again.

Iso Sensation 93 Natural 5lb tub amortizes best. It is the one I use. One of the best if not the best. Figure $11/lb + shipping. Taste like regular skim milk when reconsitituted in water.

http://iifym.com/iifym-calculator/ I use this and find it quite accurate based on the previous two years. I went on a cut last July-August and the numbers were within single digit percentage points. Reset the values and started bulking and find the numbers are correct as well.

Best in terms of health I would define as the one with least fillers per serving and highest standards of production. Iso Sensation 93. Taste-well not my area. I prefer Natural flavor which taste like reconstituted powdered milk.

I am much in demand due to blood type and take the day off after donating. I workout in the morning if so scheduled and then donate later in the day. My iron levels do drop as well. I do nothing different except avoid any type over exertion. Usually energetic as a Jack Russell I am and never feel lethargic. Eat big as…

I guess none of you folk recall the Consumer Reports protein powder supplement evaluation from a few years ago or the unofficial one done by reddit?

I absolutely deplore what you experienced. I am familiar with some of the conduct as it occurs at my gym but never directed at women. I refer to the helter skelter weight/plate arrangement and the equipment hogging. Eye contact is critical as is actually asking for the weight particularly if you preface with "Looks like…

I am in the industry, (I manage a supplement company) and dearly wish there was more regulation. The claims made by some are outrageous. Inspection is skimpy. Supplement facts are not verified. Ingredient point of origin not specified. Toothpaste and shampoo and cosmetics are more strongly regulated than supplements.…

The OP posted a video link http://www.pinterest.com/zooktography/stronglifts/ in a later thread. One can youtube search for Mark Rippetoe and find all of his videos analyzing the various lifts. The science behind the lifts is fascinating.

Are supplementary routines allowed such as dips and pull ups?

I wrote a long answer and then the site indicated down for maintenance. Hehehe The workouts at fitnessblender remind me of the cardio boot camp course I did over the summer. It was a grueling fast paced course and would leave me afterwards both sore and drenched in sweat. What are you experiencing in terms of results from…

Weightlifting? 4 to 5 times per 1 week at about 1 hour per session. Can be longer if I have to wait for equipment to free up Running? 2 to 1 time per week at 1 hour minimum. You can do quite a bit to be fit where you currently are-home and outdoors. Look up bodyweight workout of the day after googling those key words. Look…
