Try a few Pilates classes if you can, it won't burn loads of extra calories, but it's something and the bonus is you'll be doing plenty of stretching and core work which will in turn help your dancing :) If classes are out of the question for whatever reason, you can always try Blogilates at home. A lot of dancers are…

This. You can't spot reduce where your body loses fat from. Lower your body fat % with diet and lift heavy to retain your lean body mass. Toning is a myth that needs to be killed with fiah.

I like you. I like you a lot. Mmmm bacon.

I know it's probably not what one would consider "clean", but I swear by Fridge Raiders. All sorts of flavours so they don't get boring and it's just seasoned chicken. The people at the local store must be calling me the crazy chicken lady by now.

I've lost over 20lbs and I haven't had to buy any new clothes yet. Wish I did, but nope, everything still fits just fine. Le sigh.

Yep, down Brizzol way here

If you're just starting out I'd say ease yourself into it gently and start picking up the pace as your body becomes more accustomed to the exercise, and be sure to get in a couple of rest days. I personally work out quite a lot, most of it cardio, but I do throw some kettle bell exercises into my routine 3 nights a week…

Welcome to MFP, may it serve you well  There's a bunch of us with pcos here, all chugging along lol. Feel free to add and good luck!

Would rather gouge my eyes out with a rusty spoon than have kids. Guessed I missed the parenting gene in my family.

Near good(?) ol' Brizzle here!

Mine's always open, thought it might not be the best example lol. Feel free to add anyways though =]

Pretty sure OP stated they were 9 stone currently, which would end up putting them at 7 stone. Although that's not underweight for 5ft, it is at the lower end of healthy and wanting to achieve that by July seems rather unrealistic unless a body part amputation is on the cards. OP, like seehowyousoar said, try aiming for 1…

I ache, that burnt I laugh, life is good I dance, this song is awesome I drink and grab something to eat. Breakfast was hours ago!

Yep, I'm rather fond of turkey bacon, or turkey rashers really as it's not bacon, is it? Dunno about all the processed stuff that others are talking about, but the stuff I eat is 84% turkey breast, the rest being water and seasoning. Not too concerned with that! Bacon is epic, but it's too salty for me to want it too…

Yep yep, 5'5 here too. Great height! Feel free to add, always accepting!

Yeah I'll give this a go, why not. A little bit of extra motivation can't hurt! Elriah cw: 211 gw: 185 Big goal assuming it's 8 weeks but eh, I like a challenge

I'm not sure I'd call myself a junky eater. As said before, other than the odd take away or cake, I usually eat okay. Processed foods and things with added sugar etc more often than not turn me off. And I do not smother anything in condiments or salt. I do however take issue with textures and things that sit too heavy on…

I like chicken and turkey, all kinds of fish and fruit. Broccoli, spinach, occasionally sweetcorn. I'll sometimes make homemade turkey and apricot burgers which are nice, but hardly something I can live off on a daily basis =] I'm okay with quorn too, used to live with a veggie so we just made our meals together. The only…

In honesty, I don't really know. I'd often just have a sandwich for lunch and then one again for dinner, perhaps a take away once a month or something. I've never been a breakfast eater. I've never particularly eaten a lot, just what I did have never contained much nutrition. But now I'm working out, I find a get a lot…

I work in a bakery and cafe. It's hard avoiding everything there, especially when I start work at 6.30am and don't finish until well after lunch, but I find taking in a 2ltr bottle of water to sip and some healthy snacks to get me through the day works (not to mention a godly dose of will power!)
