I'm 31 weeks pregnant now and have gestational diabetes. I'd only gained 13 lbs by the diagnosis at week 28 and have since lost 5. I had no idea it existed for nursing even, but if you search pregnancy under add food you can add a deficit by trimester! I have my goals set to maintain and I'm still losing but baby is doing fine and growing fast!

I started over again close to 2 months ago and am way more committed now than I've ever been!! Anyone can feel free to add me. I started at 253 and am down to 237 as of July 31st. I broke up with my scale that day and have decided to focus more on inches/fat loss- I'm down 18(!!!!!!) inches!!!

I use the numbers provided by my heart rate monitor. MFP uses a general formula based on height, weight, and sex while the HRM more accurately reflects how hard you worked

Fruit or veggies! I swear I'm eating grapes all day long :) Or find some rice cakes that you actually enjoy the taste of... makes you feel like you're snacking on a bag of chips but doesn't hurt you so bad calorie/fat wise! Good luck!

As others have said, it comes off where it wants to first (frustrating, I know!) Give 30 Day Shred a try... it's a strength training, cardio, ab combo that helps you lose inches all over.

I've lost before with diet change only (40-50 pounds TWICE) and it comes off faster that way but I was losing muscle in addition to fat, and as others have sad, there will be a lot more sag when you reach where you want to be!
