I tried it and it worked as long as I thought I would have an 'accident' if I ate fatty foods. But then I ate something fatty and nothing happened. That was the end of that! It was more psychological for me than anything.

Well this might be TMI but my husband said he noticed I have more 'bone' down there. Guess my fat isn't covering my lady parts any more :bigsmile:

Topics are created so fast here that some can go unnoticed. I hope it's ok to bump my own post because I'm getting really frustrated with this thing and thinking of returning it! You wouldn't think a brand new HRM would have a dead battery but I don't know what else could be the problem.

I'm all for water and I know I don't drink enough of it but I actually read an article a while back that said you get enough water in the foods you eat and the 8 glasses of water a day is not necessary. Before I lost weight my bra size was a 42F (ya I know :frown: ) But now I'm a 40 or 38DD so they're a little easier to contain.

You also burn a couple thousand calories a day just doing regular everyday activities.

Just did a 30/30/30 yesterday and already lost 2 pounds! Ok there may be other contributing factors :wink: but it's motivating enough to get me going again!

Thank you! It sounds like you know what I'm going through! I had one of those days yesterday where I thought, well if I'm not going to lose weight by eating right then I'll just eat what I want. And so I ate some really bad stuff and probably sabotaged my weight loss. It's just frustrating and difficult to stay motivated…

I didn't mean to imply that there was a medical problem, I know that my calorie intake is part of the problem. But I do have weeks of time that I work out diligently and watch what I eat, but still no change on the scale. And then I have people tell me that 'oh you're just gaining muscle'. I'm doing the 30 Day Shred so there is some weights involved but I'm also using a stationary bike and elliptical so I do get some cardio too. Thanks for your reply, makes sense!
