Hi ladies! I'm short too! 5'1 and right weighing 152 lbs. I've gone as low as 110 and as high as the 160s. Up and down since my early 20th and I'm currently 40. I too eat when stressed but mostly at night when everyone's asleep to "enjoy me time". Very frustrating! Please friend me, I'm new here! Have a great day

So if sugar and refined carbs have addictive properties, shouldn't I cut those out of my diet? Or is that restriction setting me up for binging??

Hi I'm joining 5 days late but joining nonetheless! Dennis, I have a very hard time when I wake up at night too! All half asleep, defenses are down and feeling hungry for some ridiculous reason! Grrrr

I love this!! I'm 22 months sober from drugs and alcohol and have been attempting to apply some of the wonderful 12 step tidbits like "just for today" with food. I hate the way addiction pops up again in a different aspect....at least that's how it is for me. I love reading what everyone shares on this forum. Thank you!!…

I'm here to cheer u on as well. I also struggle, not so much with exercise but with food. I reward myself with food...and then feel remorse in the morning, the way an alcoholic who succumbed to the drink again.
