  • That i lost 4lbs in the first week? Are you really insinuating all of it is just water? I believe some, but not all. What say you?
  • Hahahah. Loss of water? yes. but really big poo? I didn't expect! Am filling my plate with veggies and protein, almond nuts, even carbs. I don't think i starved myself. But to be fair it was just for a week. can't wait to see what the next week says. Hopefully it won't be based on poo! Hahaha, still laughing lol. That was…
  • Thanks. This is so helpful!
  • You have a point! I did really eat more veggies and protein like chicken and also some fruits though. I just made sure not to exceed 1200. I really am not rushing to lose the weight. I don't even believe I would achieve thesame results every week, because as some people mentioned, most of it maybe water weight. I was on…
  • Oh no i wasn't assuming she had it. I just wanted her to read a lil about what artificial sugar does to the body, ofcourse if ingesting it in great quantities. Am sure when i read "high" I just assumed she was having it in large quantities so i mentioned she looks up insulin resistance.
  • I meant artificial sugar. I plan on eating fruits and all, but i am going to try to abstain from man made sugar
  • You absolutely get me! Thanks and good luck to your goals!
  • You have a point. I guess thats why someone asked how i was going to maintain the weight when i lose. You see, my goal is to try and lose all these weight before summer next year when i plan on exercising. I definitely do not intend to lose any lean mass and am aware of the probability of a gain in weight if i up my…
  • Oh no i have not been diagnosed. I am just convinced I am from all what i have read. Maybe am being a lil paranoid but i seriously want to abstain from sugar for a while during this weight loss process. I have been told its not the enemy but I think it is to me much more than fat.
  • Just clicked on the links. Reading through. Thanks
  • hahaha you are funny. Don't look at it that way. It depends on your lifestyle and BMI etc. But many people have said its probably water weight so I cant wait to see what week 2 will be. But its hard not having a sweet popcorn or something. I have to try to be strict for the 2nd week to see what happens. I feel challenged…
  • No I haven't tried any diets in the past. And thanks I won't get discouraged  in the longrun. :flowerforyou:
  • Wao you have a lot of insight and you made so much sense. Thanks!
  • True. Its not an excuse but people are different. Some cheer up during summer and become depressed in the winter so sure the weather can affect people's activities. I bet you have a car to drive yourself to the gym but if you dont and you still walk to ur place of exercise, kudos to you. But well the mistake i should have…
  • Hahaha. I am only seeing this now. This is truly the internet.
  • Oh you have twins? Congrats. Well its winter here, and I don't take them out much. I could say more, but its a lil' private. Well am not as active as i used to be after I had them. Used to play basketball, volleyball and lawn tennis. So I do consider myself sedentary.
  • Thank you Elphin!
  • You have pretty much summarized it but you didn't get everything. I totally agree its not for everyone. But my mistake was not expatiating on the other parameters like i am 5, 2, sendentary and all. maybe that would have been more accurate.
  • Thank you! Wao you did great. I will definitely try to emulate you. My goal is to lose 30lbs and you lost 150? BRAVO!
  • Thanks. Roses for you too!
  • Thank you! Okay now am no longer crying. Having a wide grin on me face!
  • THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! Finally someone who gets me. Proud of my lil' 4lbs/week for now. Thanks for being proud of me.
  • yea you right. I stopped binging and was strict for that week alone. I guess thats why i was surprised to see my weight dropped. Now you got me in floods of tears. I was just trying to share the lil' success I had and what i did to achieve it. Thanks for the flowers. xxx
  • Wao! first of all, i realise my apology was not accepted. Next, did you realise the thread where I was saying for now, i am a stay at home mum coz of my twin babies? I don't plan on staying home forever. When they grow old enough to go to school, i plan on being more active like before. I play lawn tennis, basketball and…
  • Wao i think i've come off the wrong foot here. Am not severly restricting myself. I just realised that sugar is quite MY enemy. Doesn't like me at all. But that doesn't mean i dont binge sometimes. I was just strict for one week and it worked for me. Thought I would encourage others to try it as well. Wish I could be you…
  • Your right. It could just be water weight. Am just happy seeing the scale going down. It wasn't doing that before. Congrats on ur loss though. Hope to be you someday!
  • Oh no i wasn't trying to be sarcastic. You totally got me wrong. By the way congrats. I was only sharing what i thought sugar would do to me coz i have a sweet tooth. Am just saying for those who are sedentry, if they really stick to 1200/day, they would lose weight. its difficult ofcourse but if you try just one week,…
  • Yes am doing that. Every little thing i eat, i log on. I made sure i didnt go over 1200. Don't exercise partly because of the weather here in the UK and also coz there would be no one to look after my babies. If ur keen on trying eating 1200cal, please do. Don't want to sound cliche but it does work. I ate salads, chicken…
  • I wonder how you lose on high sugar. If I did that, my weight would escalate. I drink my tea and coffee with no sugar. Have you heard about insulin resistance? you should check it out!
  • hahaha true. But lemme give you some insight. My twins are 18months old. Not yet playing or running around a football field as you would expect. I sure will be more active when they get older. For now am a stay at home mum.
