I struggled a bit in the beginning too, but once you start to see progress and feel like your work is paying off, it really seems to get easier and easier :)

There have been a handful of times I've felt discouraged about not seeing a change in my body.. and then I break out my starting pictures and compare them to where I am now and I know it's all worth it to keep going. I'm really glad I have them.

Try adjusting your weightloss goals to 1-1.5 lbs a week instead of 2 lbs. Your calorie goal should go up, and you can still eat back some of your exercise calories. Pretty much all my protein comes from chicken breast (boneless,skinless), turkey deli meats, eggs and fish (salmon, sole, tilapia). I have to careful with…

If you're only netting 800-900 calories, you're eating too little. MFP expects you to eat back some of your exercise calories (not necessarily all because the estimate calorie burns aren't accurate). You don't need to jump start, you just need to start. Drastic diets just set you up to fail. Start changing smaller things in your current diet and lifestyle, portion size, quality of food, stairs instead of elevator and walking instead of driving etc. I guarantee you'll be much more successful, happier and less deprived.

I have crohn's disease, so quite a few foods and I do not get along well!

I eat my food clockwise around starting with veggies and ending with meat. I switch hands when shaving my legs, the front of my leg I shave right handed, the backs of my legs I shave left handed. I like to count while walking, chewing, chopping etc. I don't care what the number ends at, I just feel compelled to count it.
