Any and everybody feel free to add me!

Triscuit makes a new kind that may be a bit healthier (I think they're made from beans or something; haven't tried them). Some baked chips or no/low salt pretzels may be a good sub as well.

I've got the same issue. It's changed, but most of my loss has been from my trunk. I've still got quite a ways to go though so hoping it catches up!

Request sent! I log in every day and try to motivate best I can. Anyone feel free to add me!

Feel free to add me! I've got 100+ to lose, log in daily, and try to be supporting and motivative!

Do you measure as well as weigh? I started lifting about 2.5 months ago (3-day split). My weight loss stalled/slowed for a while, but I did lose inches (I measure once a month).

I've been using dumbbells and machines since I workout alone and don't have a spotter. There is a squat machine (smith machine I think?), but I haven't used it. Given my size, the squats I do are air/body weight squats. I looked through some of the links you posted and may try them out. It does sound like switching to full…

It's probably a combination of people not being raised to eat veggies and getting a taste for them (in retrospect when I was growing up our diet was pretty bad; few veggies, lots of fast food) and people not knowing out to cook (to either bring out or make veggies taste good or pair them with other foods they go well with).

Absolutely fantastic accomplishment! Happy fitversary!

Welcome and glad to see you starting and sharing! From what you wrote I'd suggest not burning yourself out by doing/changing more than you can handle in the first few weeks. A lot of people try to change their whole lifestlye before they can adapt to any of it (change in diet, change in calories, change in exercise, etc)…

Sometimes I enjoy cooking, sometimes I don't. In general, I keep in mind that it's an investment. Not only does it cost less to make it than buy fast food or pre made, but by making a big batch of something and tupperwaring it, I'm must more likely to eat it. I also don't pigeon hole myself with a dish. I cook quite a bit…

Bagels, popcorn, peanut butter. I can work them in, but I have to be cautious or else I blow macros and calories!

At first, it wasn't really a chore or job to do, because it was something new. I got pretty used to hiking last year and really liked it. When it got cold, I tried to workout at home (indoors) with some weights, but really couldn't get into it, so I finally decided to go to gym. I based my workout a simple 3day split…

I have noticed I can't take the cold as well as I used to....

Opening your diary would help, but it could be water weight (have you been eating a lot of carbs and sodium?). Also your exercise, are you lifting weights trying to build muscle or are they cardio activities? You may also want to measure in addition to weighing. Usually even when my weightloss plateaus, I still lose inches…

Setting up small goals, doing (being able to do) new things, and looking at how far I've come already!

Firstly, make sure it's a plateau. Fluctuating or not losing for a couple weeks isn't a plateau; think more a month or more. Secondly, make sure you're not cheating yourself (i.e. not logging food, under logging calories eaten, over logging calories burned, etc). Thirdly, make sure to measure in addition to weighing.…

I've tried Greek Yogurt in my tuna salad before and it was pretty good (I put other spices in mine usually, but GY does give it a zing). I'm gonna have to try the baked potato:)

Persistence. You're gonna have off days and days that are harder than others and ones where you slip up. Don't like one heavy day, one plateau, or even one way of dieting derail you from your goal. Keep working on it. Find new recipes, new diets, new workouts, new motivations, whatever to keep going!

I go with spinach (usually in some scrambled eggs..maybe with some diced tomatoes), broccoli and cauliflower (steamfresh bags; hated the stuff as a kid, but now I love them as a side, just nuke, cut them a bit, and some salt), and green beans. One thing I would suggest is if you want to add a vegetable to your diet, but…

I'd talk to your healthcare professional and see what they advise. When I hurt mine (once I got to where I could stand/walk again) my main activities were walking/hiking (carrying no load), swimming (some aquatic exercises to improve core), and core exercises (mentioned above). Good luck!

Pizza, General Tso's Chicken, Gravy and Biscuits, Meatloaf, Loaded Baked Potato...pretty much anything bad for me!

Twelve, Scorpio those are some great pics. A bit jealous. Not enough to overcome my aversion to the cold and hike in the snow, but a bit jealous non the less:)

Yes. I like their reporting, but I love Doctor Who!
