Very interesting post, took me a while to figure it out too!! Here's how I'd explain it - and I did this for me also!! I'm open to corrections obviously! 1lb of fat on your body = 3500 calories (stored energy). ======== How much to lose weight? Being alive = 2000 calories (aka Your basic metabolic rate, or "BMR") Running…

And I agree - you should not take birth control pills for acne! lol Personally I have suffered from Rosacea for about eight years, and no one knows what causes this - though…

If you're not overweight but still think there's work to do then perhaps exercise/toning/fitness is for you - it's worth researching. If you're on facebook check out the images at "Fit Behaviour" - if you find them inspiring then there's your answer. Good luck :)

Wouldn't mind a few committed buddies - feel free to add me. Sporadic MFP user but getting more regular. "In a years time you'll wish you started today". :)

My 20th workout today since 9th April. I am working out 3 times per week (couple of weeks was 2) with a trainer who comes to my house. My goal aside from the SV's is to make exercise part of my life. Since 9th April I can now: - go a whole day without remotely feeling like a nap - I'm sleeping way better at night - Don't…

Wow, the Laws in this country just wouldn't let employers get anywhere NEAR what you're describing; there'd be war! That's amazing and grossly unfair. What does the Law say there?

I've had a lap band for 2 years. I did an AWFUL lot of research before I chose this option - this is what I learned: Weight-loss surgery techniques are mostly suited to how overweight/in danger your health is because of your weight: Balloon: reversible, least invasive: Obese Gastric Band: not reversible (only to bypass),…
