^THIS. Fit bit is for every day use of calc TDEE, Not for workouts. Use a HRM to track that. I have a polar FT4 and LOOOOOOOVE IT! Even on the days that I do Zumba half *kitten*, I still burn at least 400 cals according to my HRM.

I have a desk job at a hospital. I weigh myself every morning post poo, in the same clothes and shoes (scrubs) in an exam room. Then I write the number on my calendar and just log in MFP on Fridays. I don't log gains, its discouraging to me. Then I can flip through my calendar and see for example May 1st weight-June 1st…

I am brand new to MFP today! What do you do with friends and how do you add them? Do they see what you eat/workouts etc?How does this friend thing work..? BTW...I am 252 today...looking to get down to 200(as a 1st goal) then 170 as a 2nd goal. Need motivation!
