  • C25K is a great starting place, but everyone is different, and some people will need to take longer or shorter walk breaks than what is indicated in the program. So my advice it just to use it as a rough guideline,
  • Good luck with your race! Don't worry if you think you might not be able to run the entire distance. Many people that enter 5ks have to take walk breaks every now and then!
  • If you plan to lift heavy, you will need a coach or a trained spotter to make sure you have good form and do not get injured. There may be trainers that offer small group classes for a less expensive rate than one-on-one personal training. Ask around at the local gyms, and see what you can find out. Good luck!
