That number sounds fine, your body does actually need SOME sodium, but the problem is generally people take in tooooo much.

I think you're talking about the 100% whey? It's pretty tasty, a lot less expensive than the Protein + (also by Muscle Milk) which is all they used to carry for protein powders. The Vanilla is quite tasty :).

Really there is no consequence on the act You only fail when you refuse to TRY (again).

Fortunately, they can be broken with a bit of discipline: 1) Calorie Zig-zagging 2) Carb Cycling (kinda intense) 3) Switch workout routines 4) Increase focus on macronutrients (consuming too much sugar?, etc) / reorient them. 5) Increase water take

Muscle Milk can be pretty hit or miss and really depends on which version you get. The regular version is outrageously high in calories and fat (I want to say somewhere near 340kcal per serving, if I remember correctly -- no doubt for bulking). Some of the "Light" versions, including the one sitting on my desk (Protein +),…

I'm doing carb cycling right now, the low days are sooooooo rough, especially as a student and working part time. I don't even bother trying to work out. Staying alive is enough of a workout :P. That said, I plan my "high carb" days as intense workout days to compensate. The results have been pretty favorable, so I'm not…

If it fits in your calorie goals, sounds fine :)...omitting the jelly will keep it low GI, which is probably good, some protein and fiber in there. Sounds good to me :). nom.

Sometimes I do eat a little more frequently, but I always try to reach for the water first. What I often find to be a little more helpful is to gear snacks more protein versus carb oriented. With the case of an apple, the fiber does help fill you up, but it also gives you a nasty spike in blood sugar (which is fine), but…

I'm with you on this one. Alcohol totally throws off weight loss in a number of ways. Thus, i'll be sitting this year out :). In any case, Vodka and diet cranberry is probably my favorite :).

It's largely dependent on age and speed of weight loss. It's highly possible, it may get slightly better with time, but depending on how much skin is left, it may never go all the way away. In terms of reducing visibility, the alternatives are building muscle to increase the mass below the skin, or there are some cream…

Most 80 proof alcohols are ~95kcal/serving Everclear (190 proof) rings in at about ~190kcal/serving. Don't have the exact number, but you can probably see the trend ;)

Agreed. The optimum ones are like 22g carbs. If whey protein, it's mixed with Soy milk. Never pure protein :P

They look really good...but at $1.99 a bar, they had better be gold plated. I prefer the Optimum Nutrition ones, which can be purchased at Costco for significantly less (though they do have a little more carbs, I use them for meal replacements). Or even more inexpensive is straight whey protein. Those do have a crazy…

I've had good luck with Pea protein in the past, purchased off Amazon...Granted it will come at a premium, but it's worth it (the taste can be kinda gnarly though, heads up).

David Guetta, always a fantastic choice :D
