Meat eater but I don't eat much meat, to be honest. I can live without it, but depending on how it's cooked, I still do love the taste and how it fills me up!

In the end all what matters is how you feel. Taking smaller and frequent meals may be ok for some, while one big meal is ok for others. I have done one big meal (skip bfast, small lunch and huge dinner) and frequent meals (equal meals 4-5x a day), and my weight maintenance/loss is just the same. It's all about calories in…

What MFP gives me is 1,530 (I choose sedentary). Because I started walking 20k steps a day, I'm probably supposed to be having around 2000 a day. I'm a bit short too (5'4 and 102-104lbs), so the low number motivates me to keep moving haha

I'm in - Goal is 20k steps, started last Sunday! :-)

I had 175 grams of pork and beans & a 60 gram banana! Probably gonna have a PB or Nutella banana sandwich tomorrow since we still have a lot of bananas in the fridge and no one's touching em lol

I just have a small breakfast after my morning walk to fuel my run/brisk walk on the treadmill. But if I'm not going to the gym that day, I usually skip and have a glass of water instead.

You can add me! :)

All these things! I ge weird stares and judgment by friends and family, but I don't care! I Actuall like commuting since it's a long walk and gives me extra steps. I also started doing chores or being the one o get things when asked to do so, which at least pleases my dad more! Hahaha

I get what you mean. At 100ish lbs and 5'4 diagnosed w anorexia, it isn't only the eating part that's hard, but the mental part as well. I suggest to stop counting (easier said than done tho!)

Thank you! Been hearing great feedback with fitbit and jawbone, this might just be included in my Christmas wish list haha :-)

Thank you for all the comments! Really learned a lot. I might just go with TDEE if I'm to start having a normal routine (workout wise) again. But the activity levels on TDEE really confuse me, because I have no idea whether my workouts are light or moderate haha. What's the closest to accurate TDEE calculator?
-
Thank you for all your replies! Might start with using what MFP recommends first until I start becoming consistent with my workouts. Just did my first run since January 26 and bodyweight training since July!

Thanks! Would like to check TDEE but I think I like it better knowing how many calories I burn per workout and sice my workout levels vary depending on my mood haha

Thank you for the answer! I decided not to get a Fitbit (too pricey and may invest in one if I do have the extra money instead) and stick with Pacer and strength training (body weights and 5lb weights first) or yoga/Pilates. Running/swimming/biking for cardio. May just eat 50-75% of what I burn. Is that a good plan in…

I agree! If I were out with friends, I eat what I want, log it in, then compensate for the next few days. :-)
-
Sounds good! Congrats btw. I've always wanted to eat intuitively but am still not ready to get rid of my measuring cups. But this post does inspire me to do so :-)

Thank you! :-)

You have to sneak it in? We're allowed to bring just about any sort of food to the cinemas! Maybe a small bag of popcorn (I have packs of small bags at 100cals a bag). In the Philippines, popcorn wasn't essential but considred as movie food. But usually, I have hotdogs or dinner meals like rice and chicken. Sometimes…
