Coming from an ED - New to bulking
Hello! I'm not new to the whole weight loss journey (Been on MFP for almost 2 years now), but due to my obsessive control with calorie counting and being afraid of weight gain, I've been diagnosed with an ED (AN restrictive subtype), along with OCD and depression because of weight and other certain things in life. I used…

Who else just walks as exercise?
I use the Pacer app (can't afford a Fitbit just yet!) to track steps and if I run, so I get in 20k steps a day from usual activity or runs/walks, setting my activity level as sedentary and using negative calorie adjustment. I would just like to know if anyone else in maintenance just walks and eats back all their calories…

"Eating back calories"
I'm just wondering if any of you eat back the calories you burn when working out? I'm currently on sedentary level and Pacer syncs my steps and calories to MFP (wondering if Ishould eat that back too). Or do you use TDEE method?

Fitbit?
I'm just wondering if I should purchase one. What are your experiences with it? What I want to do is to either get a Fitbitnor use Pacer to track my steps and calories burned doing it, plus additional n additional exercise/workout I do based on MFP's log and just eat back 50-75% of it. I set my activity level to sedentary.…

Am I sedentary or lightly active?
I stopped working out and am a student who's usually on her feet half the time (If I'm in campus around 10 hours a day, I'm usually walking 1-2 hours at a time, not including when I'm cooking/cleaning at home). I plan to workout 3x a week once I get my schedule cleared out (30 minutes circuit training + 5km run). But…

Strength and Bodyweight training
Because of college ad upcoming exams (which would determine if I'll qualify for the next academic year, eep), I won't be able to visit the gym for a few weeks or so. I was planning to start lifting, but won't be able to since we have no weights at home. But what I'm planning to do is take an hour 5x a week (30 minutes…

How to lose the loose skin/excess fat?
I'm 5'4, 18 years old and 108 lbs. I lost 62 lbs over the past year and a half. Problem is, I have loose skin/flab around the arms and legs, and I'm just wondering if there's a specific resistance training routine anyone can recommend? I would also like to start lifting but have no idea where to start. I've a sort of…

For those with high blood pressure: what food should/shouldn't you eat?
The title says it all. The other day, my dad's bp went up the roof (180/115 to be exact). Lucky he didn't collapse or get a stroke. It's got my whole family and i worried, so as the eldest daughter dealing with a very stubborn father, ill be in charge of cooking/what we eat in the house from now on. So my question is, what…

Maintenance help!
I've been on a 1,200 calorie intake for a whole month now to prepare for our campus' pageant but am now ready to start maintaining. My maintenance calories is 1,760, but I'm just wondering if I should start consuming 1,760 cals immediately, or add 100 cals per week until I reach that number? I'm just a bit afraid of…

Anyone else "skinny fat"?
I'm 5'4 and my weight fluctuates from 114-119. It's usually 115 lbs. But even then, my midsection's flabby, along with my upper arms! I just started eating at my maintenance level (1,800 calories), and doing cardio 3x a week. I'm trying to add in resistance training but have no idea where to start. I'm wondering if I'll…

Calorie intake
Hello! I'm reverse dieting in order to go back to maintaining my weight. I run (30 minutes) and do bodyweight training (20 minutes) for 4x a week (Mon/Tue/Wed/Sat). I also plan to do 20 minutes yoga + bodyweight training (20 minutes) on Sundays. I'm a student so I can say that I spend my day glued to the seat 3x a week…

Ate too much and feel so bleh
Let me start this off by greeting everyone merry Christmas! So the title says it all. I ate waaay too much during Christmas Eve, and again today. I'm pretty sure I ate around 2,000 calories the whole day yesterday and so far 1,000 calories today. But that isn't the whole problem. Obviously, I gained weight and inches. I'm…

The last 10 lbs!
Hello! I made a FitnessPal last year but only decided to start using it now, usually going to Tumblr for inspiration and posting personal things. I decided to start using this account when September started, and I'm really liking it! Anyway, last September 8, I weighed in and found out that I'm 59 kgs / 130 lbs, which is…
