Ate 1200 calories for 3-4 months, reversed dieted (added 100 cals per day every week) and never gained weight. Actually lost some.
-
I never went over calories but if I did, I would just log it in. It took me a year and a half to lose all the weight, I deserve a milkshake! And one milkshake won't bring back all the weight I lost haha relax and get back on it tomorrow! :-)
-
Love it because I can easily log in my food, meet new people and get great advice in the forums.

I think it's your weight fluctuating? It usually does that throughout the day (Mine is usually at the 105-108lb range). I'm 5'4, 18 years old and maintaining at 1,750 a day (And that's without exercise). Am still experimenting with these numbers and will either cut down or increase it after a week or two, depending if I…

I made it seem like I purposely eat more carbs than protein, sorry! I meant I end up eating morecsrcarbs than recommended and never hit my protein goals, which should obviously change sooner or later (or now haha). But basically, the calories are what I focus if I'm losing weight.
-
I eat whatever I want so long as I reach my calorie goal. I'm trying to make it fit my macros, but I always overstate carbs and never hit protein.
-
For me, I don't think it would end. I find the whole counting calories thing really fun and informative. And that way, I know I won't lose or gain any more than I need to. :-)

vanilla ice cream cone and cadbury! i have no regrets

CARROTS! Sweet and crunchy but definitely not the kind of sweet I'm craving for bleh. Probably scarred as a child since my grandma made me drink pure carrot juice everyday hahahaha
-
5'3, 108#, eating 1,750 a day (according to MFP) :-)
-
I do the same and I'm feeling okay. If my taste buds get bored, I eat something else (Though never had that problem so far)

This! :-)

I fix my closet every month to see the clothes I hate/are too big/are too tight. But I got rid of most of my clothes this January. When I say most, I mean all of my clothes (and am in dire need of a shopping trip). Luckily, my sister and mom are the same size as I was while losing weight, so I gave it to them. :-) The…

BMI is exactly 18.5 (108 lbs 5'4 18 yrs old). Close to underweight. How I look? I like the way I look though I need to tone. How I feel? I feel great that I've reached my goal (though went under), but need to start lifting.

you can use the extra calories burned for the weekend or spread them out throughout the week. or like what BZAH10 said, you can have a snack before or after you workout, depending if you're hungry or not. :-)
-
are you saying you're eating enough calories to maintain after 3 months of eating less? or?
-
Find out the amount of calories your body needs to maintain weight (check for tdee calculators or what mfp recommends as an estimate). Once you have a number, increase your cal intake by 100-200 a day for a week until you reach the amount of calories you need to eat in order to maintain then stick with it for a few weeks.…

probably coconut meat. i just found out they're almost 300 cals a cup! along with dairy queen ice cream. as for starbucks, if i ever do go there (usually twice or thrice a month since i'm not a caffeine/starbucks in general person), i usually order their frap tall with nonfat milk, no whip cream so it'll be under 200 cals…

Usually a 3lb range (106-109#).

ice creaaaaam/chocolate/all the sweets oh gosh. if i didn't have so much discipline i have no idea how much i'd weigh today.
-
Congrats!!! :D

I like this! I used to drink 2 cups of milk (320cals) without realizing it, so I switched to low fat (90cals a cup) and drank a cup when I felt like it, and that alone is an extra 230 calories. I also found sugar free bread that's 130 calories for 2 slices instead of the usual wheat bread I buy that's 182 calories for 2…

Congrats! I've felt this way (And still do), and I'm glad that you overcame it. You look great! :-)

Take measurements, it's more accurate than the scale in my opinion. I'm trying to maintain my weight and am still observing if I'm maintaining at 1,600 (Though it can probably be more since I used to maintain at 1,800 before I started dieting again the month before). I slowly increase my calories at 100 per day for a week.…

It's got to start somewhere, and for sure those reps will become even more in time. I get what you mean when you workout in your room, I do my workouts in my clothes room, no matter how cramped it is hahaha. Try adding in a 10 or 15 minute walk, or if you're feeling hungry, take a glass of water then walk to clear your…

When i was eating 1200 calories a day, there were times i was moody and always feeling crabby, and it pissed people off. After i eat a big meal though, mybwhole attitude changes and i become happier. I guess the extra energy is all i needed hahaha. It seems like you're undereating, though!

The last part got me thinking haha! He's been to a doctor already but unfortunately didnt know anything about statin therapy. but will check it out. Thanks!

thank you for that! I thought olive oil was good since my dad kept insisting it was (that and what articles say). As for the sugar free marmalade, it's more on because he's borderline diabetic. Is butter okay for those kinds of people? Am gonna try persuading him to see a doc and dietician so well know better :-) [/quote]…

Yes, i think we'll start buying less pork and moreon chicken, since we dont really like beef. As for the oily foods, ill lessen it but it can be inevitable at times since he'll start to protest if i cut it off immediately. Thank you!

Thank you! Sodium intake and weight loss really does make a difference.
