Thanks for that! Am all for walking after dinner or using our ps4
-
Yeahp hes now taking meds!
-
Wow. I really hope you wont need to take meds anymore! Sodium intake really is something to lessen then. Thanm you!
-
Thank you! :-)
-
Thanks, will check that DASH diet out now! :-)
-
Haha i guess it can be called a project/experiment? But health wise, is it fine to have pork, or is chicken/fish better?
-
Thank you! I'm not trying to take responsibility, I'm just trying to help him start, as he already said he did the other day (then quickly changed his mind after i told him to lessen the Lay's haha)
-
I'll be staying away from pork and more on chicken, will it help? Awesome, we've got Mrs Dash and fish oil pills here! Thank you! :-)
-
Super informative thank you so much! :-)
-
Thank you! Less canned goods and salt then! :-)
-
thank you for that! I thought olive oil was good since my dad kept insisting it was (that and what articles say). As for the sugar free marmalade, it's more on because he's borderline diabetic. Is butter okay for those kinds of people? Am gonna try persuading him to see a doc and dietician so well know better :-)
-
Feel free to add me! :-)
-
Exactly what I do. Makes me feel sure of what I'll be eating and that way I can decline certain foods easier knowing that I already have a meal plan fir the day.
-
It isn't about giving up the things you love to eat, but to eat it in moderation or so long as it fits into your calorie goal. If you've the time, you can also start lifting weights or exercising a bit, even a 15 minute walk helps! I'm glad you're back on track! Good luck on your fitness journey! :-)
-
Hopefully they have it here, since my dad uses a lot of butter on his toast, too. I started making him a sandwich with sugar free jam instead haha. I'm also planning to start lessening the fried stuff or using olive oil if we do, is that ok?
-
Will do that! Thank you :-)
-
Will try incorporatibg even more colorful fruits and vegetables, then! My problem is how to get him to stop or at least lessen his eating, since like me before, he cant and wont stop until there's literally no food on the table.
-
Oh no it isnt in the junk list, i just want him to lessen his rice intake along with junk food. My bad! (He can eat 3 cups in one sitting!) He's 210lbs and I'm planning to get his TDEE and lessen the calorie intake by 10-15%. Thank you! :-)

I looove pb because it helps me hit my calorie goal when I'm not hungry and it tastes so good! i always make grilled peanut butter and banana sandwich, or the classic pb&j. We have like a dozen jars of pb and lotsa bananas just for me and my grandfather since the rest of my family dont really eat it much hahaha

I'm 18, 5'4 and currently 105-110 lbs. I used to be 170 lbs. :-) my goal weight was originally 120, then lowered it to 110-115, but ended up at 105-108 lbs today. Am trying to maintain, or even gain a bit.
-
I started adding in 140 cals instead, so it'll take exactly 3 weeks til I get to my maintenance level (or the one MFP recommends). Best of luck to us! :-)
-
Just realized that going back to maintaining the weight can almost be as hard as losing it! Thank you for your comment, really informative. :-)

Bump

Hmm, I'll try 280 since it's only been less than 4 weeks and I've been on maintenance for a few weeks before dieting. I'm already underweight at 105-110 lbs anyway, so any added weight may actually be good for me! Thank you! :-)
-
I drink water and go on MFP forums to pass the time. Or I would just be doing my homework haha
-
Hug! :-)
-
Feel free to add me! :-)
-
I'll be maintaining in two weeks, after my campus' pageant! Feel free to add me :-)

Yap, I just found out MFP has a 'partner' app for walking, so I'll be downloading that! May not be super accurate, but it's a start til I can get myself a pedometer. Thank you! :-)
