I tend to use the weekly outlook too. If I have an event coming up or know I'm going out with friends then I might workout extra during the week and make sure that it's within the limits for the week.

My last half was about a year ago due to some injuries (due to stupidity, not running) but I've been doing alot of weight training and shorter races to try to get back to it next year! Feel free to add me!

HA HA HA love it!

I completely agree with you here. I rode in the livestrong race a couple of weeks ago and at least everyone was supportive of him during that.

Amen!

I love this one! I might borrow it, although I doubt it would happen by the end of this year. Maybe next year...

I've used it as an organic pesticide and I know you can use it as a growing medium but I've never heard of someone taking it as a supplement. That seems........odd.

Thanks for posting this! I've been needing some help while I transition.

I can't speak for everyone, but I will tell you what happened with me. I was exercising quite a bit and burning 600+ calories a day (netting less than 1200 most of the time except rest days) and felt just fine for awhile. Eventually it caught up with me and I thought I was sick. I had absolutely no energy to get through…

Two old english sheepdogs - Rosie and Seamus. I sometimes take them for a run with me, but I'd have to walk at least 13 miles to exhaust those two so we mostly play at the park where they can run free :)

Do you know how long your body will retain water b/c of the heavy lifting? Like are we talking days or months?

I used my HRM when I was taking that class regularly and burned between 350-400 as well. I just entered it in myself each time.

I've warn my HRM a few times to class and burn around 520 on average for a 60 min class and up to 780 for a 90 min class. I'm 5'6" and 129 lbs.

For protein powders, there are several out there that are plant based and not just soy if whey bothers you. I've used one called pure green protein that gets its protein from pea, rice, spirulina and alfalfa. I can't give much advice about protein intake. I'm still on figuring that out myself and I've struggled with how…

I switched over last year and its been great for me! I definitely eat cleaner, drink more water, and don't feel as hungry anymore because I really had to look at what I was eating vs just low point foods. Best of luck!

This post struck home for me. This is exactly what happened with an EX when I started losing weight. He got super insecure and I believe deep down believed I'd just move on after I got to where I wanted to be and was happy with myself. He started regularly questioning how far I was going to go and encouraging me to eat…

Just what I needed to hear today. Thank you.

One of my favorite breakfast smoothies is a small package of frozen mixed berries, 3 oz spinach, 1 banana, 1/2 to 1 cup almond (or soy) milk to desired consistency, and add silken tofu and/or almonds for protein. Always could add a protein powder instead. It does make alot...ALOT. I drink the whole thing and it keeps me…

You can add me! I'm vegetarian and moving toward vegan.
