I carry pepper spray on me at times. The times I don't, I usually wish I had it, not so much for the humans but for the animals that cross my path! I have come face to face with mean dogs, opossums, racoons and other misc things that at times like to stand off..LOL...Best advice is to walk/run in well lit or on sidewalks…

gum is good, lots of water and i give in to cravings...I just try not to over do it. Regardless, I STILL TRACK EVERYTHING....sometimes, knowing the numbers are going to be red at the end of my day will help at least slow it down and make there not be that high of number :)

When I frist started MFP, I couldn't have chosen a worse day..however, I logged it ALL...every single calorie...it was like 3,000??? I think???!! It is a good reminder to get yourself in line and to plan out special things in advance. l say log it all, enjoy it all, and use it as a reminder of how to do differently next…

ha! I was just wondering this myself again this am. I am down almost 20 pounds and I hear it from my hubs but not anyone else yet. It is nice to finally get the recognition that it is a noticeable difference to someone :blushing:

Our answer to this was me opening my own daycare. I was able to stay home and still earn a living while enjoying my own kids! It is a great idea, especially if you can't afford just one income.

I clean houses on the side of my regular sit down job. On those days, I am busting my hump for 2-3 hours at a time, scrubbing bathrooms, etc. BUT, I also do regular exercise on a consistent basis, even most days that I clean. I usually underestimate my time on the cleaning, but I do use it. Now, for cleaning at my own home…

Many have already stated it but Couch 2 5k....you can get the plan online it is free and it works!!! that is how i started running and have never been able to run before that. It is a great EASY program!

I hate red numbers too! Sometimes I will do a dvd, just so I can get them back to green! LOL other times, I just roll with it. It is like a punch in the gut to see it, but it is also motivating to keep things under control too :)

Definately try sugarless gum and getting active however you may need to do it. Walk, run, weights, anything to get you moving. That and get out and get some sunshine. :)

If you are big on cardio, carbonated drinks will reduce your VO2. Best not to drink them often if cardio plays a big role in fitness ie, running, swimming, etc. (This is what i have been told from coaches)

My brother and his gf went paleo about 2 years ago..she also has PCOS and had not concieved in over 13 years. With paleo and dropping some weight, my niece is about to turn 9 months...LOL keep your chin up, weight loss can/will help!!
