I made this account long ago when I really was going to restrict. I do plan on making a new account since the ticker is not true to how much I actually weigh anymore.

I'd like to try a slow deficit first, but if it really just doesn't work for me, I'll try to be happy with what I have.

I'm 5'0" and 117-118 pounds.

The disorder is behind me, I will say that. I gained back 30 pounds and low calorie dieting is no longer an option for me. I'm currently eating 1900-2000 calories a day (TDEE) and have been for about three months now.

I've been to a doctor--Just today in fact. I assure you that my blood pressure is normal, heart rate is normal--Everything's dandy. But she noticed I had a significant weight gain since the last time I saw her.
-
My problem isn't getting the period back--it's keeping my period at a weight that I feel comfortable at.

I'm 4'11"-5'0" and about 115-120 lbs.

i put on all the weight i lost give or take 5 pounds i don't think it's water weight though.

No, believe me, I would have kept going on 1000 calories if I didn't know about the effects I had on my body. I was not tired of dieting. I wanted to keep going.

I'll try to maintain the weight I'm currently at for awhile, but in December, I'll make a cut to 1600.

I went to my doctor about it and she said my hormone levels were pretty much normal and there really wasn't too much wrong with me (which kind of confused me since I had lost my period but gotten it back this month). Other than that, she didn't say too much.

No, I've figured the way to do it is to go slowly and eat right. I've learned my lesson and realized that quick weight loss is never the way to go and I'm willing to actually put time and patience into my weight loss efforts.

Okay so I'll eat 2000 starting tomorrow and keep eating that for the next three months?
-
So should I slowly decrease from 3000 to 2000 so the body isn't shocked? So tomorrow I eat 2800 for three days, and then 2600 for another 3, and then 2400 and so on? Or do I just go down to 2000 starting tomorrow. I'm glad that it's probably not all fat. And I really hoped it wasn't.

Actually, yes. 3000 calories a day is a possibility as to how much I've been eating. If I stay at that level for two more months, will I fix my metabolism enough to make a cut and eat a decent amount while at cut? I'm still gaining weight, I know it'll happen. If I suddenly lower my calories to 2000, will that make my…

I was told that my body needed the calories to repair vital organs and to insulate them with fat. http://caloriecount.about.com/forums/health-support/recovery-confusion-1 This was the thread, and she literally has the exact same stats as me: 5'0, 95 pounds before raising calorie intake, period loss, so I figured that was…
