  • Thanks for your post! I calculated my fitness level based on the fact that I have a desk job rather than my level of activity. I usually log 3-5 miles of walking @ about 3.5 mph daily, so will bump up my fitness level on fitbit to match!

  • Barbies Tuna on Allrecipes...sweet relish, onions, curry powder (yes-curry powder), dill weed, parmesan cheese, and mayo. I only use about 1 T per 5 oz of tuna though. Yum!
  • I'm hooked on Fitbit Flex-I absolutely love it! Get a few friends to "compare" your progress to on the fitbit homepage and it becomes all the more motivating. Anyone want a fit bit friend, I am rondabug. One other thing I love: the Flex is waterproof. I wear it swimming and in the shower with no/problems whatsoever.

  • I met with a personal trainer this evening and he encouraged me to begin weight/resistance training. While we burn calories through cardio, we can increase our metabolism by increasing muscle mass. That means we burn more calories while at rest. I'm all for that-and for tightening up. Good luck!
