That's my main reason for losing weight. Yeah its great for the health benefits and all that, but lets face it, I look frikkin awesome in clothes and I don't care how selfish that is!! You do what you want!!

If im being taken out for dinner. I so rarely do it, maybe once a month, if that. So when I do, I order what I like. OF course I am still aware of what I am eating ALWAYS stop when Im full - or leave enough room for dessert!!

I totally get why you are upset. Mums have a huge influence on us and no matter what age we are, we still value their opinion. However, in saying that, looking at your old pics, i think you look fantastic now. much more tones and defined and you should be proud of your accomplishments

Whenever I do my weight workout, I do jump rope to get my heart rate up and some cardio in. I wear a heart rate monitor and for 11 minutes of jump rope (50 seconds work, 20 seconds rest) I burn 126 calories. Everyone is different but I dont think thats a "fact"

Ive lost 60lbs and never set foot inside a gym. I went out and ran or cycled so yes you can lose weight. However, now that I have lost weight, I am trying to build muscle so a gym is needed for weights

I use the TDEE method on iifym.com and it tells me to eat 1900 calories a day, but i exercise 6-7 days a week. I find that a very comfortable number! When I started MFP, it gave me 1200 calories and I think I lasted 2 weeks before I got really crabby!!

Yes most people arent being intentionally mean, they just dont like change. I have had constant "dont lose any more weight" or "you can stop now" and I just sit there thinking, thats sweet but I didnt ask your permission.

I went out and ran on Christmas Day! That in itself is a major achievement to me so I took a selfie mid-run!

I ran a 4 mile run this morning using my new Garmin Forerunner 10!! And now I am sitting after eating a measured out meal. The meal was measured out but I still went waaaaaay over! and I dont feel at all guilty because its christmas day and I ran!!

I will be logging everything - a good point is that i am cooking on christmas day so i know how to measure out my own portion. The sweeties, I will have a problem with. But I log no matter how bad it is!

Last Christmas i weight 220lbs and was obese. I am currently 167lbs and healthy BMI (just!) so I am definitely where I want to be, just now. To be honest, I will be happy to maintain throughout the holidays and get back on track in the new year.
