I used to weigh myself once a week but then I stopped because the scale would budge. I would work SO hard and not binge and still not lose weight. So lately I've been discouraged. I still work out and meal prep for the work week but once weekend hits I feel so over it because my weight just wont go down. I would prep meals…

This is probably a really dumb question, but what do you mean by taking a more reasonable deficit? Are you talking about upping my calorie intake? I feel like my main issue is cravings and getting past it. I know the food is bad for me but I crave it so much, I don't know how to not want bad food..
-
That makes me feel so much better, it's really assuring to know there are people out there that have the same issue!
-
I'll definitely be drinking lots of water, thanks
-
You're better than me, I drink every weekend. I look forward to every fri-sun because that's when i fill myself up with alcohol. I need to stop too. I would love to drink every day but I know i'd blow up like a house. Going from every day to 1-2 weeks is great, this could be the push you (and I) need!

Yessss, welcome to the challenge, we can do it!!
-
Thank you, I'm really nervous about this but I need to challenge myself. You're almost there, kudos to you as well!

This is AWESOME. My goal weight should actually be 170, so I…

I'm adding you too!!! Would you guys like to check-in maybe every sunday here on this thread? Whatever works!!

Yay, we can do this!!!!!!!!!

18 lbs down is amazing. I've lost 20 lbs, 25 on a good day. I've been on a plateau for a while so I'm in desperate need of support at this time. I don't want all my hard work to go down the drain. I sent you a request, we can schedule some time to check in with each other if you want too. Sometimes you can only motivate…

You look amazing!!! Great job

I finished C25K last month. My advice is that if you finish your run exactly how you're suppose to, take a leap and go for the next one. The 20 minute one scared me too but I actually did it, mind you I couldnt run for more than 3 minutes when I started. If it turns out you can't do the 20 min run all the way, then repeat…

Pump HD- no jitters!!

Download the Jefit app. I didn't know where to start with weight training (I've always done cardio) and its helped me out to have an actual routine for the gym :)
-
No way around it unless you've got braids, wig or weave...I've opted for weave lol :)

Week 5 was a tough one. I just finished the last day of week 6. I can run 22 minutes straight and it feels amazing. I'd say to just be patient. If you can't finish that run or you have to stop, just repeat it the next time. Also make sure you're running at a good pace. I realized I was running too fast for the first few…
-
I'd say listen to your body. I'm doing C25K as well and I found that when I slowed down the pace, it was easier to complete the runs ( i do the timed version) and I've begun to actually enjoy running. I get in the zone at a nice, steady pace and it feels great :) I only repeated weeks if I kept stopping and couldn't go the…

OMG I know what you mean, I do the exact same thing!

I'm a newbie runner, I'm training for my first 5k! :) Did you lose most of your weight through running?

Awesome, you're my inspiration!
