  • Ask the server to bring you To Go boxes WHEN THEY BRING THE FOOD. Before you start to eat, put half of your food in the box for tomorrow's lunch. It's not about denial... it's about restraint. IMHO, of course.
  • Pizza. When I was in high school we had the Hollow Leg Club. Met every Tuesday night for Pizza Inn buffet. Membership requirement: Eat 25 slices, not including the crust. My record was 31 slices. Don't do it any more, but have been known to occasionally eat an entire large thin crust pizza when the mood strikes. YUM!!!!
  • That would be me. I walk. About 3 miles a day, sometimes mixing walking and jogging. Always a brisk pace, but with a 10 minute slowdown at the park for my dogs to have fun!
  • If you trim the fat really well, you are eating a very lean, very nutritious protein! Course, if the steak is well marbled (fat running throughout the meat), then you need to keep that fat content in mind when calculating your daily totals.....
  • I'm a bit of an Asian food fan, so my normal lunch is a noodle bowl... roughly 1 cup of Napa cabbage, 1/2 a leek, couple baby yellow/red bell peppers, 1/2 a cup of sliced hothouse cucumber, 5-7 Thai peppers (yeah, I like SPICY too!), and generally 1/2 cup of either roasted chicken or canned salmon.
