I found using 10 oz of liquid (almond milk, water, etc.) makes it less thick or you can add more liquid to thin it a bit. You could try 1/2 scoop of Shakeology also. If it is too sweat you can decrease the amount of fruit or the type of fruit too.

You need to build up the muscles around your knee. Talk to your doctor and he will recommend you see a physical therapist who will give you great exercises to strengthen around it. It will take time and patience, but you will get there.
