Yeah I couldn't believe how small the portion of cereal actually is, before I started weighing it I was definitely having at least 2 portions!

I love zumba, I think it's so much fun! I use a HRM and find that it doesn't actually burn as many calories as some other classes that I do (BodyStep for example) but I guess that's because it's lower impact. I definitely get sweaty and lower heart rate = higher fat burn according to some on here so it can only be a good…

I really wish I could do that! I've cut back a lot but think I must have alcoholic tendencies!! I just aim to keep it going slow and steady, I'm just happy to be going in the right direction
-
wow you look hot!! I don't have the natural curves (I wish I did!), if I looked anywhere near as good as you do when I get to my goal I'd be thrilled! Great work
-
I have the same HRM, unfortunately mine doesn't work when I'm swimming. From an earlier post on the same topic it may be due to the chemicals in the water and so by all means try it but don't be too surprised if it doesn't work! Mine has worked fine since I tried it

I think it's fine to use the elliptical as well as doing the shred, I do 2 classes back to back at the gym and it's not doing me any harm! You should try to have at least 1 day off a week to allow your muscles to recover

I've added you, I live in Somerset

I did a sprint tri a few years ago, I wore a sporty bikini (adidas I think) and then just put a t-shirt and shorts over it...it gave me enough support for the ladies but I am quite small in that area!
-
woah, amazing! What a transformation, congratulations

we've been doing the new release for a week now, it's hard on the shoulders! The back track now has more presses which tire my shoulders out pretty quick then there's still the shoulder track to get through! Lots of singles throughout which are good for the calorie burn though  ETA: I normally struggle with the…

I do bodypump with a HRM, I weigh 209lbs and burn between 500-600 on the latest release dependent on how heavy weights I put on!
-
wow, amazing transformation! Great work, thanks for posting :flowerforyou:

I'm like you in that I feel a bit guilty when I take a day off but you should really have a day off a week, it helps your body recover. I'm having a day off today after over a week of exercising and I can honestly say my body definitely needs it!!

Happy April everyone! Weighed in on Friday and had lost 4kgs in 4 weeks, yay! It's my birthday tomorrow, I'm going to have to try extra hard to avoid eating too much cake  Hope everyone has a successful month

I love this! I've lost an automobile tire,I knew I had a spare tire floating round my middle
-
Can you actually use them when swimming? When I tried it gave me no HR when in the water so I assume that it can't transmit through water?
-
great to see so many people getting such amazing results! I love threads like this, they're so motivating :drinker:

I'm practically over before I even finish breakfast usually. However mine's due to fruit and a lot of people on here tend to ignore the sugar from fruit and only worry about the processed sugar (like that found in cupcakes!). I've tried cutting back but I miss fruit if I don't eat it!
-
Yep I agree which is why I'm trying to not get hung up on the numbers as they tend to get you down! I'm not too good on the measuring thing so I tend to go by how my clothes fit...they're definitely looser so I'll take that!
-
thanks, think I will try and add in some nuts and maybe increase portion sizes slightly. It's difficult to know how many cals I'm going to burn as do exercise at night but I have a rough idea now. I've not been eating many of the exercise calories up to now, am no longer losing weight, if anything I'm gaining and I've now…

I've given up weighing myself at the moment, the scales keep showing an increase even though my clothes clearly don't agree! I guess I have some water retention or something, maybe caused by changing up my gym routine. Maybe next weekend...
-
wow! Great work, I look forward to the day I get rid of the plural chins too
-
I was logging it as calisthenics but don't think that it's too accurate, I've ended up buying a HRM as well
-
you may lose water weight but not genuine weight!
-
I only weigh myself once a week normally but this week when I weighed myself I had gained 4lbs! I was convinced this couldn't be right so weighed myself the next day and was back to my weight of the previous week. Water retention, sodium intake and other such things can make big differences in a short period of time! Also…

yep, I need to lose over 50 lbs so add me too! I've sent a request :flowerforyou: Anyone else can friend me too... :blushing:

snacks never really work for me at the weekend either I don't seem to be as hungry when I'm not sat bored at my desk! do you do lots of triathlons backinthenines? I did a sprint tri many years ago and would love to get back into it one day, I just really struggle with the running part :grumble:
-
Good work! You look amazing :drinker: Thanks for posting your pics and helping to motivate me even more!

I'm 29 next month, think that's why I've finally decided to do something about my weight I want to look good when I'm 30! I get ID'd at supermarkets regularly, especially when I lose a bit of weight I love it! Good work on the toyboy, I went the other way and bagged an older man

Wow, 100lb squats?! I used to lift a lot but don't think I ever got anywhere near that! Just stick to the lower weights of bodypump now ...
