  • I was just given the combination of the two by my doctor. I have held on to the prescriptions for over a week now being unsure if I should take them or not. I take half a phentermine a day and I do work out and eat very healthy. I am afraid of the "mental fog" as well. With my job, I can't afford to make mistakes. So, I'm…
  • Not everyone can use Chantix. :( Or other pills... If you are one of those people Ecigs are a good outlet to try!! But don't get ones that look like cigs or taste like tobacco... get something you will enjoy. I "Vape" a vanilla hazelnut flavor and it keeps me from eating sweets!!!
  • I use a local shop by my house. Yes, it is habit replacement but people have NO IDEA how big of a transition it is... and it's a positive one. Without my Vapor Cig I would not have been able to stop smoking. :) My health, teeth, skin, kids, family and friends thank me.
  • I quit smoking in August. I started using E-Cigs...but not the store bought ones. I use Vapor. I had mild withdrawl. Vaping has less nicotine in it and it's water vapor. So, you are not smoking anything. I can breath now. My allergies have improved a lot and I have not been sick like I used to be when I smoked. I "vape" at…
  • I will have to check those out. They make "burpless" fish oil pills now and there are no side effects :)
  • Well, i will report back if I see a significant change. I did have to get other tests done and I do hope everything is well with me of course. But I have been having a lot of problems since I have recommitted to losing weight.
  • Thanks. This is new to me, sorry to sound like an idiot. But I have a lot of friends that are dieting and they probably are not taking it or getting their blood work done. We are all working really hard but progress is slow. :(
  • I work out at night at well. Same time frame! I'm NOT a morning person. I also get to eat my calories for the day and work off as much as possible. It's just easier for me :)
  • You can do it!
  • I'm sorry. I am not "not educated".. apparently what I wrote was misunderstood, or perhaps I misunderstood the original post? I may be new here, but I find it outlandish to follow a 1200 calorie a day diet and meet it 100%, work out for 1 hour (or more) than go home and eat 600+ calories that this site indicates I have…
  • I agree. What are you eating? Since you are building muscle, your body might need a bit more food. Depends though!
  • SO you are not loosing? You are burning calories do to working out. If you eat you 1200 a day, and allow the deficit, you should be loosing. When you eat more, because you earned more calories, doesn't mean you need to eat those earned. If you eat the 1200 a day (NET) and just allow the deficit, you will loose. It doesn't…
  • If they have fresh fish, order it! Grilled! Avoid fried anything! If they just have burgers, eat just the meat, skip the fries! If you are forced to order something toxic, only eat a small portion of it! Steak is also a good option, eat the steak first and avoid the sides!
  • We do Youtube... we just try to mimic what we see on the videos! It's a lot of fun, thank God nobody is video taping!
  • I have lost 6 total!!! My weigh in day is Tuesday! I want in!
  • I have had a couple heated debates with a few friends about caloric intake. The information you need is posted above. It's truth! A friend of mine argued with me that her weight required her to eat 2,000 a day to shed the weight. Well, in fact, she started gaining after a while. She was not burning enough to offset that…
  • Im having trouble with protein as well. Most foods that have a good source are loaded with calories. Today, I did try a bit of peanut butter (on wheat of course) with some local honey. It seemed to give me some protein. Still tacked on 300 calories! BUT, honey and peanut butter sandwich is pretty good when you really are…
  • Beef jerky is a good choice! It takes a while to eat as well, you are forced to enjoy it. Read the labels! My fav snacks are Frizos light cheese sticks. Mozerella :) They are fun to eat, it takes a while if you string it and it's filling :)
  • LESSON: After drinking vodka, don't try to look it up!
  • I dance 5 Nights a week in my kitchen. Cardio for 1 hour and sit ups and tone for about 15 min. I do not like to exercise. So I play music and shake my booty off!
