I am quite guilty of the being too tired excuse as well, so when that happens and I can't convince myself to suck it up and do a lengthy workout, I'll at least sneak in SOME exercise. Maybe it'll be 100 squats or something like that. At least I'm moving. My second is that it's okay because I'm not overweight. Although I'm…

Hahaha! Thank you!

I don't mind if they disappear, nor do I mind if people screw up once in a while. That's really quite normal, and I'm totally willing to be encouraging to those people who are human beings that just aren't perfect all the time. What I'm tired of reading is statuses that go something like this... 8:07am post: "I'm going to…

I would, but my ideal body may very well be very different from yours, so my opinion should be pretty irrelevant. You certainly look healthy. I just prefer a very trim and toned look.

Hey fellow C25Kers, I'm on Wk 6, Day 2. Doing the Blacklight run on Aug. 8. I fell behind on the program because I got sick two weeks ago, so last week was brutal. The first time I've felt like throwing up during a relatively slow run, but I finished it.

Sounds like a great trip!

Ah! I will not today. :( I work in a courthouse, so I have to dress up quite often. I'll have to put this off until tomorrow.

My boyfriend and I do this almost every night as well. Yesterday it was quinoa with mushrooms, carrots, and spinach. Yum!

Excellent idea to do this thread! JFT I will, (1) run 2 miles, (2) drink 65 oz of water, and (3) do 100 sit-ups.

Of course it happens. If I never failed, I wouldn't be on here. I'd be perfectly fit. I just don't have tolerance for never ending excuses.
-
You'll do whatever you're most comfortable with, but from this side of the pond, the reasons sound like excuses.

I don't care where it is, but it better involved sushi.

You're very brave for putting yourself out here like you did. No wonder people think you're confident. You got some great advice and encouragement, but I don't see much tough love, and it really sounds like you need some of that. I completely understand not wanting to eat a bunch of low fat garbage and not wanting to deal…

74 jumping jacks and a cute quip from Siri for setting my time: "Just remember, a watched iPhone never boils." Don't test that theory out though.

Hmm, that's interesting. I'll chalk it up to the cold too, although the cold was mostly from last week. The stuffy nose is kind of the remnants of it. Poor little body got beat up I guess.

LOL! Forever?! ;)

Thanks for all of the replies. I didn't eat anything before the run and I drank about 8 oz of water a few minutes before going out. I can normally handle only a banana, at most, before a run or I get cramps. I considered the weather too, especially because I run with my dog, who has insane amounts of energy even after a…

I refuse to weigh cheese & crackers. I shall declare it a cheat day and enjoy! Having 2 pieces of cheese and 2 crackers isn't worth having them at all. I actually lost a decent amount of weight about 7 years ago by using SparkPeople (which is similar to MFP), but once I lost all the weight, I stopped tracking. I think for…

I've put myself on a sit-ups and squats challenge, which burns approximately 80 calories per day and builds muscle. It takes barely any time at all (I usually do them before I get ready for work/school or right before bed). It's a really simple way to get in some solid physical activity and the apps I use are motivating…
