I'm a low bar squatter and the only way to go atg is with a narrower stance. That's fine as some of my templates have me, for volume squatting, at narrow, normal and extra wide. So atg on narrow, very deep at normal and just past parallel on extra wide. All three stances hit my leg muscles slightly different with extra…

Grow longer arms.....

I like how it was a pr and you stayed tight through the entire motion!

Program I'm on, 531, has a heavy squat day and a volume squat day. Tuesday is volume, Friday is heavy, which is a good thing as it gives Sat and Sun to recuperate.

Pullups or lat pulldowns on Mondays Single arm DB rows, Pendlay's or t-bar rows on Thur Also have deadlifts on Tues so that's kind of another back lifting session
-
Been lifting for a while.

Those are quads of peace right there!

Dexterity FTW.

I'm building a shed but it's not for lifting. 10x12 barn style. If you don't go with a concrete floor (mine's elevated) you'd need to reconsider the structural supports. If it was for lifting I'd probably have gone with a 12x10 (12 wide, 10 long). Mine would still need to be elevated due to water runoff but I'd use 6x6…

I'm not mowing, I'm supervising my teenage boys while they mow......

And it's 100% appropriate to be in my yard, front or back, shirt off, with a whisky in one hand, a steak in the other and a cigar in my mouth, while my nipples get sun and my back hair gets wind kissed.......

You need to read the book to understand. Also, blackironbeast.com is an online calculator for 531 and has various templates.

Is oat flour okay? Some of them just use oat flour instead of full oats. http://dailyburn.com/life/recipes/homemade-protein-bar-recipes/

How long have you been lifting? That may determine which program may be right for you. Most people with just a few months under their belt I would steer them toward Strong Lifts 5x5, which is a strength and mass building program (assuming you eat for growth). If you're past the beginning stage look up Jim Wendler's 531…

Not re-racking weights or DB's and/or leaving them lying all over the place.

About at 30 seconds is one way to get them on. I don't have SBD but am getting ready to purchase a pair. My old neos are tight and I used this method to help out on the leg hair issue (short of shaving and using baby powder) http://youtu.be/C4oeRc5egO0

I think you would have gotten that 320 if you hadn't had the 270x7 earlier in the session.

Nice job NRG! Looks like you're on the mend and ready to start progressing again.

Not sure what wireless ear buds I'm using but when I was looking for a pair most of them ran about $20-30. The one I got were $24 with free shipping on Amazon and work well. I can keep my phone in my bag and move up to around 25ft away without issues.

I'm not sure how many cycles I've run now. Used to renumber the cycles starting at 1 when I'd take a break but stopped doing that this past year. So currently I'm finishing cycle 11 and will start on cycle 12 in another week. 531 has worked well for me over the years and I'll continue to run it as long as I can.

Not really. From the discussion it doesn't seem to matter whether the weight was heavy or lighter as long as it went to failure. Saw increases in both hypertrophy and strength (with one exception, bench). I bolded the quote below from the study discussion. Interestingly, they picked a larger sample group that had at least…

Classic symptom of prednisone is water retention giving people that puffy look. It also increases appetite quite a bit but in the short term shouldn't cause too many issues with overeating. I've taken it on and off for over 40 years (starting when I was very young). The old regimen is a lot different than the new. Back in…

True, plus it's going to be completely different between upper and lower days. Guarantee I burn more on deadlifting days than bench days. Overall that's why I prefer TDEE than the standard MFP calculation.

^^what was said above. Why?

I run Wendlers 531 program and it's a fundamentally upper lower split. On the 11th cycle for this past year.

Depending on the schedule for the day it may be 1 or 2 greek yogurts. One about 9:30 am and the next about 10:15am (if eating 2). Randomly I may thrown in a serving of peanut butter. I consider the above more of a pre-workout snack than anything as I usually have a greek yogurt and protein shake for breakfast. And it's…

Ah. Well that's a bit different then. I visit the eastern side a couple times a year for work. Even on those mornings I'm out of the hotel at 6am it's humid. Keep at it and good luck!
